Do I cancel by just issuing a refund, even tho no actual payment received?
There shouldn't be any paypal fees on my end since payment wasn't processed?
How does the order get added back to inventory on BL side, quantity adjustments?
A few of the items were bought out, do those have to bd manually added back in?
Thanks!
|
The buyer is requesting you cancel the order.
You can cancel the order using the "problem order" menu.
You should not refund a payment that you have not actually received yet.
When you complete the order cancellation, you will be prompted to upload the
order items back into your inventory.
In my view, an order cancelled by mutual consent should not have any feedback
from either side, since, in a way, no transaction occurred.

Thanks! I seem to be stuck in a loop. I have gotten it to show CANCEL ORDER on
the Order Details page. When I click on that it goes to the explanation page
of canceling order. It doesn't give any confirm cancelation.

You can submit a feedback removal request:
https://www.bricklink.com/feedbackDel.asp
However, the BrickLink administrators only remove feedback for very specific
reasons. They won't remove negative feedback simply because it's inaccurate.
It may be worth a try, though.

Thanks! All proof provided to buyer and PayPal submitted. Buyer has now messaged
that they removed the NSS and that they were just having an "off day"
and was being mean! I hope that admin is able to look at the messages associated
with the order, because it's all documented there.

| Does any one know how to Ban or Block members from being able to purchase from
your store?
I recently had a bad experience with a seller who was extremely rude, and difficult
to deal with regarding an issue I had no control over (USPS Delayed his package,
which he still received). And I would like to ban him, specially since he left
a completely false negative review on my store.
Thanks!

| Yes I have dealt with this, unfortunately there is no way to force them to change
their review.
But you can fight it through Pay Pal. When they request cancelation PayPal should
create a "Case" in which you will both give Pay Pal information and Pay
Pal will govern what happens.
In my case, similar to yours, I had a customer get very angry that their package
had not arrived, it was delayed, probably temporally lost in transit, but eventually
showed up at their door.
Best thing to do is post the current Tracking in the Case Review when Pay Pal
creates the case, and wait it out. I think Pay Pal usually takes like 30 days
to finally review your case, so that should be plenty of time for your package
to finally arrive. When it does, post that in the case and you should win.
Secondly, in your terms, add wording such that once a package is shipped, you
do not accept refunds except on case by case exceptions. And that you will not
refund shipping cost. If you have those terms already, or in the future you can
reference those terms in your case on pay pal, stating that the Buyer agreed
to these terms.
I had a 100% Customer satisfaction, until I ran into an issue like this. Now
I have 1 Negative complaint from a very rude and demanding customer that attempted
to scam me, similar to what appears is going on here.
Hope this helps.

Thanks! Yeah, this is strange for sure.
They did just submit case through PayPal. Tracking info uploaded along with screenshots
of the details of the shipment.

| This is the first, and I've tried searching with no luck.
So, we go our first NSS and Negative Feedback. Buyer states that we haven't
shipped. However, not the case. They state "it has been five weeks and not
received, US to Australia."
The order was placed on 05/09/2023, order was shipped on 05/10/2023. It was advised
in drive thru notification that it would be upto 3 weeks for delivery. Buyer
states it's 5 weeks, but it is not even 2 weeks.
They have now submitted cancelation through PayPal. Anyone delt with this, it
is showing in transit, just arriving yesterday in Australia.
They submitted the NSS and Negative before even reaching out to me about the
parcel. They are negative in their responses to me about it now. They have been
given tracking to see for themselves where the package is at.
So, they are scamming to get parts and pay nothing for it.
Any advice to battle this?

| Thanks for checking out our store!
Just want to let you know that now through Sunday, 02/05/2023 at midnight, we are having a Grand Opening Sale.
It has been a great first month of figuring out the setup of our store. We have been adding parts like crazy... and well, we need to get some more added, so some need to go! LoL!
We have also updated our shipping methods. We are offering flat rate shipping of $5.50 and if your order is over $40, shipping is on us.
Please be sure to check us out this weekend. We look forward to getting your order put together!
|
just a heads up you may want to change this line in your terms
"BbR Bricks is not responsible for any damages or lost packages without insurance"
as sellers are fully liable until the package is delivered so its best to be
upfront with buyers about it. as insurance is for the seller not the buyer
|
I guess my initial thought was it even being an option available to the buyer
and other stores making a note of it. Will look into some adjustments with that.
Thanks!
