crazy how they get mad at the op for overpricing but then they have lots of items

That fact hadn't been lost on me. Someone pointed to the Power Miners being
way over.

Thank you both for your input and support.

I thought I recognised the name ...

The buyer already attempted to negotiate the price of an element they already
received but failed to mention anything about the price of the element when they
made the purchase, only doing so just before receiving the refund for the missing
part. Buyer is also asking for a refund of $10 for the parts they felt were over
priced vs the market on top of sending them the correct torso they were already
refunded for.

If they chose to buy at a price above average, they should not later complain
your price was above average.

You could set all lots to be a minimum of 50c. If the item is 5c, sell them in
batches of 10. If 25c, sell them in batches of 2. If you don't have enough
stock to reach 50c, don't sell them.

For what it's worth, If a rouge bill for any service gets lost/forgotten,
a person isn't likely to notice their non-payment until the next month's
bill so a 10 day grace period is kind of worthless.

If they are actively selling, they shouldn't miss the warning notice when
they have overdue fees and log on. If they are not actively selling, it makes
no difference if they temporarily cannot sell.

Come on... It's one or a couple of clicks to pay every month. People get
lazy nowadays!

No I get that, but the "penalties" for missing your payment seem absurd.
Waiting a few weeks or needing to raise a stink on the forum to unlock your
store seems excessive. I didn't do a search but it seems like we see threads
like this at least once a month. Last year I closed up the store for a few months
so I could travel. I randomly logged in one day to check the value of a set
I saw and realized I had a bill for ~$10 that must have been from the 2 days
I happened to be open. Had I not paid it, my store would have been essentially
suspended indefinitely over a $10 fee.

If not automate the payment, automate the unlocking.

If you were closed and not actively logging on, a suspension wouldn't have
made any difference. The only difference would be if you wanted to open again
quickly.

I really cannot understand how anyone that is open and actively logging on to
process orders can miss making their fee payments.

  Hey everyone,

I've been thinking recently and I have come to the conclusion that I want
to sell a large part of my personal collection. One part of this collection includeds
a lot of older used sets, mostly ninjago and starwars. They are all mostly complete
but I don't know for sure, and I don't really have the time to check
every single one individualy. The seccond part of the collection are a lot of
minifigures, from a large variaty of themes, both new and used. How would I
best go about selling these?

Any tips would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

Bulk lot on Facebook or a similar local narketplace. Describe as 95% complete
or a reasonable estimate for the sets. Check the figures are in each though.

It seems the best way to handle this is to complain about it in the forum. Every
time someone makes such a post it appears to be resolved in under an hour whereas
nothing appears to happen for weeks if the suspended seller contacts the help
desk.

It is a very messed up customer service system.

I just started selling here and I have some rare parts/figs. I know making

alright. If you guys have any remarks please feel free to tell me

You might want to try listing some cheaper items to try and get some sales to
build up some feedback. Not only are your prices a bit high, you have no history
of selling so buyers are likely to ignore your store rather than risk a lot of
money with a new seller.

I am expecting negative feedback from a first time buyer because they say they

Remember that they can only request what you allow them to request. If you want
orders to have tracking, then you can insist on that and charge the buyer for
it.

Is it this?

It looks like it is unofficial and based on parts that were available at the
PAB wall.

  Hi all

While sorting, I’m sure we all come across bricks That have had a hard life or
have had a challenging journey. This time I’m erring towards this brick actually
coming from the factory as a dual colour brick rather than it being bleached
or something

What do you think ?

Cheers

The line between the colours looks very straight compared to most marbled bricks
I have seen. It might be genuinely produced that way, or it could have been that
the surface of this brick was partially immersed in something that has bleached
the colour. There seems to be a chip on the lighter side on the bottom that is
the darker of the two colours under the surface.

Of course. The strange angle confused me. It does look like a broken mast. There
were variations of this and those little bits by the hinge were not on all variants.
Not that I've seen a tan one. It is possible to cut bars quite neatly and
use a sharpening stone to flatten them to make them look like new. I used to
do that on any that got broken, just cutting the bad bit off.

Isn't that mark/missing print to the neck from assembling it in the factory.
I thought the old process was that the neck print identifies the front, then
used to spin it around if necessary to attach the arms. I've seen quite a
few new torsos in the past with marks like that, especially when the white is
very thin / low density.

I offer my somewhat personal anecdotal input, in part to balance the incessant
"stolen, nightshift" as you put it, scenarios all too readily expressed
by mostly the under-informed here. To those reading, understand or don't.

It is like anything in life that is slightly outside of the mainstream rules.
If a little bit happens but it is so insignificant that it doesn't really
affect anyone or get noticed, it is not really an issue and can continue. When
it happens much more often, and people start abusing it, then something needs
to be done. In that case, things that would have not been cracked down on in
the past suddenly get cracked down on, even though people see it as legitimate
as it was previously not cracked down on. The sellers and buyers of the transparent
Darth Vader and Batman figures really pushed the boundaries and it seems previous
not disallowed parts have been caught up in this.

If you are not happy with condition and the seller does nothing to rectify it,
then leave them negative feedback stating your concerns.

You do need to be a bit careful if you use a magnifier to check condition as
it can over emphasise fine damage that is not necessarily seen by the naked eye.
Many new parts have scratches. Not big gouges, but faint scratches to the surface,
especially CMF parts where someone has felt the package rather heavily to identify
it.

But if it is damage you see by eye, and then use a magnifier to confirm, that's
a good idea.

Neck prints can also be deceiving. Sometimes that print is very low density and
even partially missing. This is not always a sign of use. But if there are scratches
up-down on the neck print, it is more likely.
