For BrickLink administrators and anyone interested,

I'm happy to work with people who are polite and communicate about delaying
orders for changes, or for payment reasons.

However for buyers who neither pay nor communicate, I don't understand why
a seller should have to wait a week before starting the additional week-long
NPB process.

I realize there a different ways to handle non-paying non-communicating buyers,
but I for one prefer and appreciate the NPB process -- it helps me, and it
helps our community.

I just don't get why I have to wait a week to start it, on behalf of impolite
people.

Recommend changing the post-invoice pre-NPB wait period to three days, or four
at most.

Hi there

After dealing every month with 1-2 NPB i now have 4 of These in one week !
there is urgent Need to handle the whole Situation in an appropriate way .

They are blocking sets and pieces worth hundreds of Euros from being sold, not
only at Bricklink but in my physical store aswell !

All buyers of course with 2 or less Feedback Ratings - 2 of them created their
account just to buy a 41999 and a 42030 set - just for fun it seems....very annoying
!

The whole NPB procedure is slow, timeconsuming and inefficient - there Needs
to be a faster way to get my goods back in my inventory for selling them to better
customers -

I'm considering to exclude Zero Feedback buyers from my shop - i have much
more Problems than Profit dealing with them !

Rant over...

Peter-Markus
  Thanks for anyone's time, Matthew

I was thinking that it would be nice to be able to send out notifications on
a part you already had in your inventory if lets say you added X amount to it
in one upload. It could be high like 100 or 200 or more..etc. It would just
be nice if you had one left in your inventory but just added 350 to it to be
able to let people know you just added a bunch of them at once.

just a though

thanks for your time

adam

Yes ! I'm having this in my head every time i uploaded new quantities of
rather rare parts by myself too - i solved it creating new lots every time i
changed quantities of much sought after bricks manually !
Would be nice to get that some way automised !

A big yes therefore !

  Hello

I just want to ask if its only me facing an increasing amount of members not
paying their dues ?

What about a popup window for NPBs in spe as a remlnder which comes before a
NPB procedure ?

Like "Hello 1 or more order(s) are still pending for payment " blinking all
around the Display !

Just my opinion !

Peter-Markus

What about an option that requires the buyer to at least acknowledge the NPB
before being allowed to place a new order, and one that restricts their buying
if they have more than one open NPB at a time? Maybe a form that says, "Seller
ScootersBricks states that you have not yet paid for order 12345. Please select
a response: -I have already made payment on (date) - - I have not yet paid, but
plan to pay on or by (date) - -I have decided not to pay and instead accept
the NPB penalty -

That could speed up the process a bit, and the seller could opt to get a message
telling him what the seller stated as far as when he will pay, to make the process
easier. And still, if the npb isn't responded to in the 7 days, the seller
could still close it easily...but we wouldn't have as many buyers placing
20-50 orders the first couple weeks after they register and never paying for
any of them.

Hello

Can't agree more ... thanks for your Input !

Yeh i have send out some NPB's.. i don't mind if they have more feedback

Always send them reminders.

The problem with some HUGH feedback buyers is they think they are so speciaal
, that would not give the new Sellers a nice feeling...

Steekstra

It has nothing to do with NPB, the OP wants it BEFORE one opens an NPB, like
** all the time **.

And it has also nothing to do with buyers who might think they are special and
also nothing to do with new sellers. This has to do with a notification a buyer
has an unpaid order...

We don't need that, as the 'my bricklink' page overview already tells
you that
and if the buyer doesn't pay, then he'll get a red banner when he is
in NPB status, so no need for an extra banner BEFORE that.

Hello

Sorry for confusing you all !
My Intention has been completely misunderstood - what i wanted is !

After 1 week and lets say at least 2 reminders i want a less harsh method than
NPB !
It would be the last step before NPB procedure and not an immediate affect after
buying !

Hope this got clear now !

So like, automatic reminders instead of the seller manually sending the reminder?

Yeah, you got it !
I can see 6 buyers logging in after invoicing them a week or more before and
no one of them read my Messages - and not only newbies !

Being harsh would result in NPB procedure and risk of negatve Feedback ( including
senseless work )

The automatic reminder for a Minute or 2 ( for example after logging in ) will
stop
excuses like "I didn't read email" !
