A small asterisk (*) below a thumbnail image indicates that there is a large
image (like the one you see on this page) available when you click on the small
thumbnail.

An exclamation mark (!) below a thumbnail image indicates that there is 3D data
available.

In Inventories, Naughty_UK writes:
This may be a dumb question but I've looked in the help and can't find
anything. There's also nothing in the hover-over tooltips or any other clues
on the inventories themselves.

When you view a set inventory, each part listed usually has a ! or a * (or both)
underneath the part image thumbnail. Can anyone tell me what they mean? ta.

Read the extended comments for this inventory.

  Comments from Submitter:
Yellow 1x1 round plate open stud is part of this set, not an alternate. It needs to be moved into normal inventory.

I'm not sure that it's only the sun light in itself that causes discoloration.
In my old store inventory, I've found a small number of parts that were
fully discolored, yet they were not exposed to direct sun light.

On the other hand, I had the little Filmore VW bus (from Cars) in which certain
colors on one side became discolored.

In Colors, legoman_74 writes:
  Hello,
So I am well aware of the "sun burnt" effect on white, blues, yellows, the old
light grays and among other colors, however I am sorting through quite a bit
of used Lego with the old light grays and I pulled quite a bit of them out believing
they were discolored by the sun. Upon closer inspection, they appear to be quite
uniform in their color, including underneath, just definitely a different shade
than the others and not quite like the "sun burnt" ones. Does anyone else out
there recall issues with Lego having off color batches on old light grays in
the past like they have trouble with now on the new light bluish grays and yellows?
Thanks in advance for everyone's time.
Sincerely,
Ken

Why is this significant?

I print the order for pulling, so a buyer isn't getting anything extra (more
wasteful).

In Suggestions, cosmicray writes:
As this has been a controversial topic recently, perhaps we should make it a
buyer select-able option.

Allow the buyer to choose to receive paperwork with the order, or to have the
order shipped without paperwork. The seller would then be obliged to follow the
buyer's selection.

thank you, Nita Rae

Not even close. Having an order with a record of the transaction would be easier
and more ideal.

Regardless, it doesn't really matter, as I fought for this feature at least
twice in the past and had little in the way of support. I doubt it will ever
be possible.

The forum is a tough crowd to win over. Add that to the 'new' administration
and you'll see why so many have lost faith that BL will ever reach its potential.

That seems plenty close enough to pulling like an order to me. Do you have a
tablet?

I just noticed that these sets require a Target credit card to purchase.

From this point on I will make an extra effort to ensure that I purchase in a
manner that limits the direct benefit to TLC. All these exclusives seem to do
is create a rift in their loyal fan base. They end up solely in the 2nd hand
market at inflated prices.

In Catalog, starbeanie writes:
Sweet Mayhem and Benny will be limited also.

I'm beginning to grow tired with Lego. I visit eurobricks, brickset, brothersbrick,
rebrickable, and s@h as often as possible and still cannot seem to stay in the
Lego loop. Last year(?) I missed out on the classic set exclusives, some s@h
specials, and now these special sets.

K

I saw them and thought they were WM exclusives.

Interesting find. I have the "landscape" print version and can confirm that
the opposite side is not the "portrait" print side you've shown.

In Catalog, baylit writes:
It appears that there were 2 versions of the instructions with different cover
page orientations - 1 landscape and 1 portrait.
Perhaps this has happened a lot. First time I've noticed it.
See image.
How is this addressed in the Bricklink inventory catalog - or should it be?

The torsos look different between these 2 ninjas, plus one is clearly Chinese
plastic.

In Catalog, jodawill writes:
The inventory for these two minifigures is the exact same. Is there a reason
to have two different catalog items for it? I don't doubt there may be some
differences between the reissue and the original, but the inventory is listed
as them being identical.
