| Hello,
Some of my chromed parts in poor condition (severely faded). I would like to
remove the chromium entirely and reveal the solid colors (white, grays).
Example:
1. Can you kindly point me towards a related LEGO online resource?
2. To confirm, would this fall under seller ToS?
All parts listed in your store must be genuine LEGO parts in their original,
unmodified condition.
3. 90s chrome silver parts = ABS plastic & chromium coating?
4. Best method for minimal damage? Ferric chloride (chemical etching)?
Thanks for helping,
Caleb

| Ho ho ho,
I noticed Advent Sub-Sets are always on far fewer Wanted Lists, listed less,
and sold in smaller quantities than their minifigure counterparts.
Sealed polybags or not, the prices are very comparable. I understand if buyers
are avoiding additional parts or accessories, but that doesn't explain the
equal vacancy for non-exclusive minifigures.
Are casual buyers missing out?
Suggestion: Update the festive figures with new relationship links.

| Is there a creative solution to salvaging these parts? Without damaging them?
Some 15 years ago, I made the mistake of locking in pieces for "max clutch" and
now I've repurposed it as a puzzle of increasing difficulty.
Step 3 is where I'm stuck (haha)
Step 1 - Use pliers to gently remove the 3L Axle, and Axle Connector
Step 2A - If possible, pry out one 3L pin with little effort, to free the other
Step 2B - If 2A fails, use a dremel to remove the bush section of the 3L Pin
Step 3 - Use FORCE to break the 32034s and liberate the 4 red axles
On the bright side, I only have to sacrifice 2-3 parts to save the rest. Still,
I'm quite reluctant to destroy Lego and greedy enough to ask for help. Help!

| What is your BrickLink rule of thumb to organizing inventory and pulling orders?
I've heard that sorting by parts not color is a good one. Another is cutting/taping
your own boxes to save on shipping. And a lot of pros and cons to setting a minimum
price/lots. My sub-query would be; are there any slow sellers that you
leave in the odd parts bin, or push to the end of the queue (of listing parts)?
Lastly, is BrickStock worth it or is Rebrickable a nice alternative?
Thanks,
