Hey there, hope your all doing well!

I wanted to run an idea by you guys see what you think, I think it would be really
beneficial and helpful. In the price guide, for any particular set, you can see
the purchase history ( which is awesome). I was thinking, would there be a way
to add which country an item sold in? I feel like that would give us sellers
an idea where an item is hot, and compare that with the pricing. Anyways I think
it would be great, let me know what you think

  Hello,

After hitting a bug where Buy All failed to create orders that totaled my entire
Wanted List (and I didn't realize it until starting to build the models,
too late to ship another order before my time deadline!), I tried to place another
order but search for stores near me so I could pick up locally. I could find
no way to do this.

How about adding a "Stores near me" option in "Sort By" dropdown menu? It could
be based on ZIP code without compromising any store's address. As it was,
I had to manually compare the "284 stores found" list (after I'd limited
it to U.S. stores) with the dozens of stores in my state, finding only two that
matched.

From a programming perspective, it seems like this feature should be easy, with
a big payback in functionality of your wonderful website. And stores still retain
the option to share their address or not, as mine did, after a buyer Contacts
them.

Best regards,
ejv

This has been suggested before and hasn't been implemented because of privacy
issues and perhaps also because of the free market.
When a store is nearby it doesn't mean that the store accepts a pick up.
The easiest way is to send the stores a message.

New to this. I just ordered over 200 bricks from a seller. I want to place
another order but need to eliminate the purchased ones. How do I easily do this?
Any way besides doing it one by one?

The easiest way to manage is to enable the 'Items in order on Wantlist'
icon in the settings of the orders Placed page. A little scroll will appear.
It takes you to all bought items in that order.
Select the bought items and move all bought items into a new Bought Wantlist.
Then you can do a new search for the remaining items.

With shipping cost being very expensive where I live I tend to order large quantities
or bricks at once to justify shipping costs. Still, making an order is extremely
expensive for the relatively few pieces I order. I would like a method to cross
reference wishlists with parts available in official sets, so I can buy the sets
that have most of the parts I need and order the remaining on bricklink. This
tool could also be useful to sellers that need to source bulk parts for unofficial
kits, or for just finding the best source of parts.

I think that Rebrickable.com does that.
You enter parts and it tells you which set you can build.

Hi, might be a stupid question, but I have had a long running problem with the
search box.
Is it just me, maybe a browser issue? I am using Chrome.

Just now I typed in 4032(2x2 round plate) and it would not bring it up.Tried
it 3 times. Yet when I checked the catalogue manually that is the correct number.

I can go to google to search Lego and 98% of the time just a single search shows
me what I want on the first try.

Thanks.

More experienced users are encouraged to use the advanced Catalog Search:

Sorry if this has been discussed before but couldnt find any posts

How do I add my orders and everything I have brought to my own inventory. So
I know exactly what I have . I seem to be recounting bricks over and over to
check and see what I have. It would be so much easier to look at my inventory
and see and know exactly what I have. I don't have a shop on here .my inventory
is for my own reference

Thanks in advance

Peter

Perhaps this also works:
On your Orders placed page download the order to xml and upload the file to your
inventory.

When I want to place multiple orders with the same shop, the site adds the second
order to the first order. So the bill from the first order is on its way, and
the second bill is not just for the second order, but it automaticaly includes
the firtst order as well.
While I want to have them seperate. Is there a way to avoid this?
Rommelse

I think a new order is automatically added to an existing order if the first
order is not marked “paid” by the buyer or marked as “packed” or “ shipped” by
the seller.

If a seller has Instant Checkout enabled and you use an on-site payment method,
you can sort of avoid the merging of the orders.

Correct. Just pay the final invoice.

  Hi,

as a buyer, I found having only two choices for parts condition is far too basic
and not useful, mostly for buyers, but also for sellers who seek accuracy and
honesty regarding their inventory.

I mean, for now a seller can only pick new or used, but pretty much everyone
has his/her own standard and I got some used parts which are like new, some others
which are closer to the one way ticket to trash, if you see what I mean .

It's not good nor practical to force seller to put actual picture(s) of all
the used parts, both hobbyist and professional has better use of their time I
guess.
Plus, asking for every single part before ordering is not good either, some sellers
didn't took time to reply to potential buyer's question already.

And when seller put description, it's quite subjective, one adjective is
far to describe actual shape of a part: "bite marks, yellowish", ok but how many
marks, how deep ?
how much "yellowished" is the brick ?
Some may claims "quite good", some other "I can't send them to trash".

A quality score could be added to a used part. It would be used as well to set
the sell price, as trash-ready used parts can lower the infamous "average 6 months"
and lower ALL prices, which is very unfair for like new parts.

Any thoughts?

Who will control the scores.
