Simple¹ solution: export the cart as a wanted list, and open the WL in another
tab, and delete the WL and repeat each time you add an item / change your cart.
¹ For a BrickLinkesque definition of “simple.” See also “soon.”

Even easier: BrickStore can import any cart

(2) is yes. (Just go the My Collection page and you’ll see the Import/Export
button )
So (1) is yes too (export then import, maybe use BrickStore in between).
