Hey,

I recently put together the set mentioned in the subject and had the idea to
add an internal motor to try and make the car motorized. Wondering if anyone
has attempted this before I go at it blind.

My initial thought is that it shouldn't be too complicated. The differential
is easily accessed through the removable engine cover. There might be a big enough
gap in there for me to place a small motor in there. Need to take another look
at the front tires to see where I could set one up for them.

Any ideas or tips on how to get started would be greatly appreciated!

Is it this?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4RjGBcBVNN0

It looks like it is unofficial and based on parts that were available at the
PAB wall.

Hi all,

I'm new here and was just wondering if there are people on this forum who
would design a lego set for a fee?

If so please sent me a private message.

Hi,

I think that there are many who, like me, want to build 40703 and/or 40704 with
their existing items.

Therefore I've created created customised instructions for 40703 and 40704
and posted them online here: https://bricksto.build

The instructions roughly follow the same sequence as the original instructions.

40703 - Micro Ninjago City
40704 - Micro Ninjago Docks

I also plan to create 40705 and 40706 as soon as they are released.

Happy building!

  Hi there,

I am wanting to create a striped pole that would be used in a Christmas build
as a "North Pole". I wanted to create the stripes angled rather than
straight and then possibly put a light brick in the top surrounded by transparent/translucent
blue bricks. However, I am struggling to create the stripes in a cube.

Can anyone recommend the best way to do this, or suggest which brick number(s)
I could use?

Many thanks!

The old macaroni bricks could be used staggered, so that might work, but it would
be rather large, much bigger than minifigure scale.

On a smaller scale, you could use one of these in white:

Part No: 43888 Name: Support 1 x 1 x 6 Solid Pillar
*
43888 Support 1 x 1 x 6 Solid Pillar
Parts: Support

and wrap a long thin red sticker around it to create the candy cane effect. Or
use a red one and wrap a white sticker around it.

Hi,
Many thanks for the reply.

Scale-wise I am thinking it being fairly big/tall. I will be adding some elves
around it so will probably appear fairly large. I'm also going to be adding
a ball/crystal on top

Many thanks for your help!

Depending on the scale, you could try something like this: https://youtu.be/DWq9RxuE-ig?si=tBwDU2cNeGThpaTH&t=73

... using white/red striped tiles from this search: https://www.bricklink.com/browseList.asp?itemType=P&catString=39&colorID=1&q=stripes+red&sortBy=N&sortAsc=A

You could do it with 1x1 round plates in white and red but it would depend on
the scale required.
