| | I guess you could just order them and tell the seller you don't want the
extra parts.
|
But the total weight will be higher. It will require manual effort by the seller
to remove the items and so on.
Also with instant checkout, the order might be in a next, more expensive weight
band .

I looked in each menu, and did not find settings related to the "Items For
Sale" menu. I was able to change the defaults for the "Price Guide"
menu, but I want to change settings for the "Items for Sale" menu.

You cannot set such a filter in the "for sale" / browsing menu. It has
been asked for many times but never acted upon.

| As far as I can tell, there isn't a way to tell BrickLink to save my preferences
on the "Items For Sale" menu. See screenshot for context. As a result,
every time I open a product listing on BrickLink, I have to go through the same
6-step process:
1. Set "Seller Ships To" to USA
2. Check "Instant Checkout Only"
3. Click "More Options"
4. Set "Seller Location" to North America
5. Set "Seller Accepts" to US Dollar
6. Click "Search"
It would be much more convenient if BrickLink would allow me to set my own defaults
for these fields.
|
Hover over the My BL icon at the top of any page. Select "Settings" which
is on the right of the dropdown menu. Go through each one and set your preferences.
The shopping settings will allow you to choose either USA or North America.
Once you have set your preferences, you should not have to recheck them each
time.

to force a buyer to pay a certain amount in one transaction. Why would a seller
accept a small value order (and paypal fees on that donation) just because the
buyer is making a charity donation? Plus it is a mess for tax purposes. Is it
the buyer or seller making the donation?
|
Sigh. I'm sorry I confused people with the charity part. Forget the charity
part.
I DO understand the reason for a min. buy.
The main part is really simple: add an amount of money to an order without actually
ordering extra items to reach that min. buy.
