Please combine the catalog categories on one category:

Bionicle
Hero Factory
Large Figure Part
(and even a few bionicles parts that are for some reason stuck in the technic
category when they are used for nothing other than bionicles).

Then, sub-divide that category into several smaller categories such as:
Head, Mask, Torso, Limb, Foot, etc.

There is no reason to have these three categories. Large amounts of a part found
in one category is used by another. For example, some Hero Factory parts are
used in more bionicle figures than Hero Factory. And wading through any of those
three categories even in their current state in order to find something is almost
ridiculous.

Please revise the catalog policy by removing this restriction to the catalog
from:
"Items that should not be added to the catalog:", Section 1, on this page:
http://www.bricklink.com/help.asp?helpID=71

"Also, do not submit items which have been verified as never released, even if
a picture is available."

There is already a large list of unreleased sets on bricklink. There is no reason
why more should not be allowed to be added, so that bricklink can remain the
most complete Lego database. (Otherwise, what's the point to even having
the current list???)

And there is no reason why people should not be able to buy and sell these sets
even if the boxes and instructions were not officially released (since many of
these sets can be fully made from the released pieces).

(NOTE: This is not a catalog request, or anything of the sort -- this is
a post which is to be voted on by the community and for the head administration
to see in the SUGGESTIONS for them to possibly implement.)

Thank you for your consideration,
Andy

Please revise the catalog policy by removing this restriction to the catalog
from:
"Guidelines for adding items to the catalog:", Section 8, on this page:
http://www.bricklink.com/help.asp?helpID=71

"Decorated Minifig Hips and Legs - Submission of entries for the separate component
parts of a printed Minifig, Legs Assembly item is currently discouraged except
under certain circumstances. Those are 1) an administrative judgment that the
minifig involved is significant in some way, and 2) the general design of the
minifig involved is produced in both printed and unprinted legs assembly versions."

Please do this so that all decorated hips and legs may be added and sold individually
on bricklink without restriction.

(NOTE: This is not a catalog request, or anything of the sort -- this is
a post which is to be voted on by the community and for the head administration

Thank you for your consideration,

Please Please Please leave up the old version! I use it all the time and the
new version is nowhere near as useful. It doesn't even work at all! I have
tried to figure out why but I have no idea and I can't imagine other people
who are new to the site would be having an easier time using it either.

I have a suggestion. BrickLink should have all of the users vote on what they
think should be done. It's just my opinion, but I think you guys would be
surprised to see how many people really don't like the new version and want
to stick with the classic version.

Some sellers don't have anything listed in the terms and conditions and nothing
listed in thes shipping section. Instead everything is posted in their splash
page. This gives those sellers the ability to change their terms and shipping
rates at anytime without the buyer being able to go back and look at the terms/shipping
when they made their purchase.

The only method to prove what the terms were is to make a screenshot of the splash
page when the purchase is made. Then the burden of proof is on the buyer to
prove that the screenshot was the terms/shipping policy when the purchase was
made.

Please start keeping a history of the splash page. For sellers that externally
host their splash page maybe and automatic daily screenshot can be captured and
retained as the terms/shipping policy for the day.

Or simply don’t take the splash page as proof of anything and state that only
what’s on the terms page counts.

Some sellers have the terms and shipping policies completely blank. So there
is nothing to rely upon.

If you want I can PM you an example. I don't want to publicly announce the
seller.

You should inform those sellers that they should state fees etc on their Terms
page.

All additional fees other than shipping and insurance must be stated here.
Please keep your terms clear and to the point. Your terms are also displayed
to a buyer on checkout prior to placing an order.

Yes this seems like a poor way to deal with shipping/terms when there is no history
retained. Seems to me that none of their terms should be enforceable with the
way they have configured their store.

Sorry, when I say “don’t take… as proof,” I’m thinking “BL admins ought not to
take… as proof.”

If there’s a problem, only the terms page should serve as proof. If the seller
has only given their policies in their splash page, tough luck, the buyer is
right.

So glad you haven't dropped the good, old Classic Wanted List. So much better
than the new one! Hope you've changed your minds. Please keep it!

In Administrative, Admin_Jaclyn writes:
  Hello Everyone,

In June of last year, we introduced a new Wanted List upgrade. This upgrade came
with a newly-designed buying experience which focused on the necessity to compare
and plan out multiple carts at once, as well as make it easier to manage multiple
lists.

Since BrickLink's Wanted List is a core feature for most users, we currently
provide the classic version for members to use as a backup in case there are
glitches with the new version. This is intended to be a temporary solution.

The classic version of the Wanted List feature will become unavailable on
June 5, 2017.
At this point, we have ensured that the new version of the
Wanted List covers all desired functionality (plus more) from the classic version.
If you have any issues with the new version, please let us know as soon as possible.

Thank you for the continued support, bug reports, and helpful feedback as we
continue to roll out important changes.

Sincerely,

Jaclyn
