  BEWARE: RANT!!!

Once again, we have had a new feature FORCED upon us, with no way to turn it
off! I realize the development team is trying to be helpful with new, easy-to-use
features. *sarcasm* What good are all these trendy little add-ons? We need simplicity
for our new users, and even us older ones! BrickLink can add on all these new
useless things, and yet they can't implement a few roadblocks to curb the
new *sellers* (read: scammers), even after many, many suggestions on how to do
so?

Lisa at Brick Dungeon

My question.

Why are the working on this instead of working on instant checkout? Regardless
of how long it took to develop this feature the time would have been better served
working on instant checkout.

I agree.
Get rid of this crazy useless option, or at least give us the option of wanting
it or not.

  I've seen the "To Top" floating button when in stores and found it to be
only mildly annoying, but now it seems to be in the lower right of EVERY screen
along with a "Help" button. There is already a link to "Help" at the bottom
of every page, why do we need another one (that moves around no less)? Additionally,
I think I can manage manually scrolling to the top of my home screen without
the aid of a bow and arrow.

Is this a recent change or have I just not noticed it before? Do we have to
have these controls that hover and move around on the screen erratically? It's
especially frustrating on a small mobile screen--it's just clutter.

Can we drop them or at least have an option in our settings to turn them off?

Comments from Submitter:
You can see the error in the instructions book, it's not 8 x 8. Also the lego element id 6150217 is incorrect. 6150217 is for trans-clear 50747.

Sorry, 6150217 is for BLACK 50747 of course.

Comments from Submitter:
Just got the teacher's guide for this set. The set I used for inventory apparently wasn't fully complete and did not include this guide. The teacher's guide includes a complete list of all the items included in the set. Changes to set based on information included in teacher's guide and all part counts in current inventory verified and changed if necessary. Will submit a title change request for the sticker included in set - like many of these Dacta storage box stickers this came in multiple sets. The only thing not represented with these changes are two sheets of translucent paper which I will add to the catalog and then to the set inventory.

Agreed, they make it very difficult to use BrickLink on your smartphone.

I'm not sure what you have to do and what you're doing, but at least
when you need 'help' to go to the 'top' it just a quarter of
an inch away from eachother

  I have to scroll down to get them out of the way.

I'm 'off' as my imagination is getting out of control...

I'm referring to the two on the lower right.

A workaround for people using Chrome:

- Install the Chrome extension "Stylish Addon";
- Click the new little "S" button, select "Manage Styles" - "Write New Style";
- Give the new style a name, doesn't matter what;
- Change the "Applies to" to "URLs on the domain" and enter "bricklink.com"
in the space following the drop-down;
- In the "Code" section, add ".footer-sticky-links {display: none !important;}";
- Click "Save";
- Reload your BL page.

Niek.

1 as extra item

You are correct. This is what came originally in the set:
[p=6029c01]
One horn is used on the fig, one horn on the horse, and the plume is unused.
There was never a third horn.

On Jun 20, 2004, the submitter must have missed the one on the horse. On Aug
28, 2004, the inventory was only partially corrected by adding the horse horns
to the Regular Items section, but leaving the one in the extra section.

Yes, not helpful to have a help button on top of other things you are trying
to use/read. These should be "off active screen"

Robert

clicking help and trying to find away to disable them doesn't "help"

Thanks for posting this, I thought I clicked something to cause this. And it
is annoying since it appears on top of info I wish to view.

Perhaps we need an icon to click to move the help and to top icons up or down.
Or right or left.

Note to development team, the above line is sarcasm not a suggestion.
