Agreed. I'm definitely for having and being able to add to the Unreleased

however, of adding inventories for unreleased sets.

Yes, the catalog adminstrators refuse to add more sets to that category when
I have submitted them multiple times. The submission is immediately deleted.
Also, I am not allowed to sell sets in the unreleased category, even if all of
the parts are available and I can make a used set to sell.

If LEGO decided that the sets are not good enough to sell, why should we pretend

Pg. 17: four are used for one wing. Then on pg. 35 it shows that you repeat

| Please combine the catalog categories on one category:
Bionicle
Hero Factory
Large Figure Part
(and even a few bionicles parts that are for some reason stuck in the technic
category when they are used for nothing other than bionicles).
Then, sub-divide that category into several smaller categories such as:
Head, Mask, Torso, Limb, Foot, etc.
There is no reason to have these three categories. Large amounts of a part found
in one category is used by another. For example, some Hero Factory parts are
used in more bionicle figures than Hero Factory. And wading through any of those
three categories even in their current state in order to find something is almost
ridiculous.

tried to figure out why but I have no idea and I can't imagine other people

I have a suggestion. BrickLink should have all of the users vote on what they

surprised to see how many people really don't like the new version and want
to stick with the classic version.

Yes this seems like a poor way to deal with shipping/terms when there is no history
retained. Seems to me that none of their terms should be enforceable with the
way they have configured their store.

Sorry, when I say “don’t take… as proof,” I’m thinking “BL admins ought not to

If there’s a problem, only the terms page should serve as proof. If the seller

| Hello Everyone,
In June of last year, we introduced a new Wanted List upgrade. This upgrade came
with a newly-designed buying experience which focused on the necessity to compare
and plan out multiple carts at once, as well as make it easier to manage multiple
lists.
Since BrickLink's Wanted List is a core feature for most users, we currently
provide the classic version for members to use as a backup in case there are
glitches with the new version. This is intended to be a temporary solution.
The classic version of the Wanted List feature will become unavailable on
June 5, 2017. At this point, we have ensured that the new version of the
Wanted List covers all desired functionality (plus more) from the classic version.
If you have any issues with the new version, please let us know as soon as possible.
Thank you for the continued support, bug reports, and helpful feedback as we
continue to roll out important changes.
Sincerely,
Jaclyn

it really hard to find a wanted list when I have 20+ lists. I can change it to

Also, once I've set the sort order, having that flow through to everywhere

shipping methods, in all countries, which is very very very difficult. On top
of that, it requires that weight and dimensions for all parts be accurate, which
they currently are not.
Instant checkout is a sweet daydream. But "We are working on it"

I prefer items in order accuracy over instant payment at checkout.
NPBs aren't that such a big issue for my store.

| I am not a fan of the new wanted list. To much effort for such a simple task
of adding a part. I love the classic version and will continue to use it as long
it is available. Don't see why we can't have both or why the new one
exists in the first place. If it ain't broke don't break it.

| The wanted list search page here https://www.bricklink.com/v2/wanted/search.page
does not provide an option to use the "on hand" values in that search.
Scenarios:
Show me all items on all wanted lists where I have a value in the on hand field
Show me all the items of a particular nature where I have a value in the on hand
field
Show me all items where I do not have a value on hand
Show me all items where the value on hand is equal to the qty wanted

| The wanted list view at this page https://www.bricklink.com/v2/wanted/list.page?utm_content=subnav
does not remember my search settings and keeps reverting back.
Scenario:
Change the search to by "Completion" and "Down" sort order.
Open a wanted list to review
Hit browser back arrow to return to the page
Reverts to default search settings
Can you please add the ability to save your default search criteria?
Additionally, a filter to only show those with items on hand / not on hand /
not completed / partially completed would be useful

| Consider allowing a user preference to exclude the On-Hand quantity of an item
when searching a store for items on the wanted list.
Scenario:
I have multiple wanted lists with a total of 6 of 1x6 white plates on them
I have previously marked two of these plates on one wanted list as "have"
Search a store and locate that item in the store
Bricklink on that item line tells me I have a total of 6 on my wanted list with
2 "on hand"
When I click the Auto-fill min option bricklink places a quantity of 6 as the
minimum on the item.
I would like the option to exclude the on-hand quantity thus placing a quantity
of 4 on the item line.
Logic is that I have 2 on hand, so why would I want 6 more (only need 4 more)

| This is a real bummer. The new version sucks and doesn't really serve the
purpose that the classic version served. It's very disappointing that it's
being removed. Honestly, what harm does it serve to keep it running??

Hi Jaclyn,
You state that you have ensured that the new version has all of the desired functionality
of the old version. This is untrue. I want to see the prices listed when I look
at my wanted lists.
|
But you can:
Open a WL | More Options (between the search box and the percentage) | Items
for Sale Options | Show
Then Apply.
Beware of the default sort: by store name.
|
Thank you for your help with this again. It is a UI issue... I went to More Options
but then my eyes were immediately drawn to the "Sort By" which is by the list
of items as opposed to adjusting the list using the drop down "Sort stores by"
so after a couple of attemps I got it to look like something I can use. It has
also kept my settings so that's a good thing.
|
(I’m starting to get tired.
Admin, that this has to be explained again and again and again should be a big
clue that, besides the fact that no-one ever reads the explanations, there’s
a UI problem with those settings.)
| Furthermore I noticed that now if you try to use the buy
wizard and you select the store that has the most items from your wanted list
that the green and red arrows are now gone so the newer buyers not knowing how
to research if they are getting screwed on pricing will put in their orders not
realizing this.
|
Feature removed. Lots of complaints here. Some (sellers mainly) say hurrah. Will
remain removed.
(I suspect it was also totally bugged.)
| Buy wizard still does not save your search settings and I have
to adjust them every time so that only U.S. sellers pop up (no offense to our
friends overseas and abroad) which is HIGHLY ANNOYING.
|
So true.
| Lastly the most underhanded and unethical adjustment to come along to the new
version of the wanted list is something called "Easy Buy" which should more appropriately
be called "Sucker Buy". Not only does it not show the prices of the parts you
are buying but it also brings up stores on my least favored list! I have some
stores on that list that charge outrageous prices for their elements.
|
Related to the settings thing?
| This reaffirms my belief that changes companies make are almost always greed
based yet they veil these changes under the premise that it's "better for
the customer"
|
Seems to me BL’s changes are mainly untested and bug-ridden.
| On a positive note it is WAY easier to add items to wanted lists now.

| Please keep the classic wanted list with all of his features!
Since the new wanted list came out i looked into it and it tourned out impractical..
So i worked with classic version because its better for me and i think also for
others
I dont understand why the classic variant must be removed! Bricklink worked since
the new wanted list came out with classic version parallel without any problem
for me
So please keep the classic wanted list. Buying bricks without classic version
will cost a lot more time and will be frustrating
