| My store used to have a track record of 100% praise.
But recently a new member ordered and requested to cancel after that, for which
he left a neutral feedback. The comment itself is neutral, just a word "thank
you". But it ruins the 100% record, unfortunately.
Any suggestions for preventing things like this?
My thought is to deny any cancellation request--and include that in the store
terms.
But if buyers feel they are forced to buy--sellers are putting himself to
a dangerous situation as well. Buyers may look for defects and a negative feedback
may still result.
P.S. Suggestions regarding store is also welcomed. I am looking for that to improve
as well. Thank you in advance.

| Hello Bricklink Community !
I have a technical question regarding certain building techniques that I am unfamiliar
with, and I was wondering if someone could please help me out.
The instructions to a SW Tie Defender MOC tell me to insert a 1 x 1 plate with
thin O clip into the back of a 1 x 1 modified headlight brick (parts 4085a and
4070, respectively). I have a screenshot of the steps attached below.
I personally have never thought to use this technique, but the idea is amazing.
It lowers the top of the clip half a plate thickness relative to the top of the
headlight brick, which can yield greater detail and greater precision in elevation.
However, when I found the pieces in my own collection and replicated the build,
the clip did not initially fit into the back of the headlight. I had to flex
the clips uncomfortably far to fit them into the headlight and once inside, they
remained flexed. The possible internal stresses on the part worry me greatly
!
Does anyone have any experience with this technique? If so, what are your thoughts
on it? Is there a better alternative I can experiment with?
All your help is greatly appreciated, thank you !

| I've had a poor experience with a seller, where he argued with me about discrepant
parts I received, refunded me for the discrepant parts only after I pushed for
it, then told me to "Please never order from [his] store ever again."
Would you leave negative feedback based on the interaction? Or just move on since
you got the refund?

| Right now, I have got
111 positive feedbacks as buyer
777=7*111 positive feedbacks as seller
Total:
888= 8*111 positive feedback
This is a particular moment I do not want to receive any feedback for a while!
P.S Fun fact:
i) 111=3*37
ii) 111 + 777 = 1*111 + 7*111= (1+7) * 111 = 8 * 111 (so not entirely a coincidence
that 888 is also combined of one single digit "8")

| Yesterday I posted a question about making a reply to a feedback. I posted a
picture of the page I was asking about and thought that I had blanked out all
of the buyer's information. I screwed up and missed 1 spot. As soon as I
realized that, I cancelled my message. The post was a question. It was NEVER,
EVER meant as a name and shame. I was having trouble finding the correct link
and just needed a bit of help.
So, to my buyer: I apologize profusely for the mistake. I honestly cannot apologize
enough. That was my mistake and it is completely on me.
Now, to the member who emailed my buyer:
***** THAT IS NOT OKAY. ******
My buyer is new to BL; which I mentioned in my message. Normally, I send a message
to the buyer explaining the feedback system and why their feedback is unwarranted
and so damaging. I have found that communication and education about BL goes
a long way. Never in my wildest imaginings would I have thought that another
seller would take it upon themselves to send such a message to my buyer. The
chastising tone of the email and the "mention" of being stop-listed by sellers
made my buyer feel threatened.
What should have been a conversation between myself and my buyer became public
in a way that I never wanted. Again, that is my mistake and I apologize.

| Buyer gave negative feedback without contacting me first.
Order was under control of the postal service when this happened.
Didn't allow me to resolve issue!
Has since been :
1.repaid for total order costs!
2. Order was returned to me and I have since posted it back to Buyer!
I feel that I have been extorted due to the negative feedback!
I had at that point NO Negative feedback for being a Seller!
Not Happy!
I have put in request for negative feedback to be removed!
Apparently Rejected but not reason why!
AND No asking me why either!!
On removal of Feedback list says - the following applies:
Seller is attempting feedback extortion AND Not relevant to the order (once
with postal service, we can't do anything about it!)
Who can I message for assistance to solve this PROBLEM!
Thanks Cate

| Hi!
I just spent most of the day working on a new interface for my splash page and
was hoping to get some criticism on it. I spent the last several hours spell
checking everything so hopefully that's all good If there's anything
I should add or if something looks messed up on your end. It all helps!
Thanks!
