Them old classic coins my most fave from pirate themes and even some western
themes. Always a fave element. I see them pop up now and then.

Parts: Minifigure, Utensil

I distinctly remember having a set of silver chrome coins in my childhood collection.
It looks like there's some listed on Bricklink, but they aren't attributed
to anything in the catalogue. Is this just a factory variation in the gold chrome
coating of the coin, or was there any actual silver chrome coins made available?

Variation in the chrome, or older coins having lost some of the golden shine.

  Can anyone help me identify these little owls. Part:6143 & 30367.

6142 & 30367 are alternate numbers for:

Part No: 3941 Name: Brick, Round 2 x 2 with Axle Hole
*
3941 Brick, Round 2 x 2 with Axle Hole
Parts: Brick, Round
[p=553c]

But they are not owls

  I cannot find them in the catalogue and need to know which set they are from.
They are Lego branded.
Any help appreciated.
Thank you.
