I just ignore it and it doesn't hurt me at all.

I understand. From the posted suggestion "Personally don't find the
spam posts all that bothersome. Many do though, and if there's an easy fix
to tidy things up a bit..."

But whether you, I or some others are overly bothered, is not the point of the
suggestion. Betterment of the site, if for no other reason

Anyway, it's just a suggestion of how something that does bother others,
could be handled. A few analogies leap to mind, things that should not be allowed
as being disruptive or subversive to the accustomed functioning of a given community.
In other words, things which though don't particularly bother you or I, might
be addressed nonetheless

But like I said, just a suggestion

I am on the forum all day and report at least 4 or 5 spam members per day.
I would be very appreciated. But the last spam doesn't have any link in its
post...

You'd don't think that was intentional misdirection, Nicolas?

It's the first I've seen without links, anyway

You're right, the first without link ! Are bots enough smart ?

You're assuming bots in this seemingly fortuitous and timely instance

  I don't think so... It won't last !

Nicolas

It was auto hidden by the website because the spammer put it in HTML tags.

Thanks. Good to learn

Gonna close the contest sometime today. When the USPS 'Delivered' notice
is up, I'll go through all the entries to find the winner and post it.

  Hi everyone,

I started selling at the end of January and have had a handful of orders since,
but I've only had one buyer leave feedback. Do most people not bother leaving
feedback anymore?

Anymore? You started selling end of January, what are you referencing with "anymore"?

I've left feedback for every order, both buying and selling, and I thought
most people would do the same. Is there anything I could be doing to try to encourage
my buyers to leave feedback?

No encouragement beyond the cheap kind

As to your expectations of such:

My daughter and I both just finished this. We both also found (in different ways)
the experience very helpful in balancing that moral compass we all depend, perhaps
even more so today

My son blazed through his original Mediations. Then again, Gavin's intellectually
exceptional and therefore easily bored. In other words, no "contemporary
reading" for him But for us normies its a recommended and excellent way
to absorb the man's timeless reasoning. Grounding

Hi, I'm new to Bricklink, my frist order turned out to be a NSS whatever
thst is. I have uet to get my money back. Now, I've just received a compliant
from a seller for not proceeding with an order which they changed after saying
in am email theyd honour an invoice they sent to me for less then they were asking.
No, now thank you Bricklink. Not cool. I wish to make a complaint to Bricklink
for these experiences. These rules and obligstions are not clear enough for first
time users of bricklink.

It's a bit confusing trying to corroborate your words here with feedbacks
left and received. It seems there's a NSS as well as a NPB filing involved?
Anyway, looking at both feedbacks left (plus reply) and your posted concern here...

It seems you're crossing each other in the night, so-to-speak. The "asking
price" was not increased, the invoice total increase due to postage and packaging
charges which is fairly commonplace here. On the other hand the seller apparently
doesn't have these added charges spelled-out within their terms.

Neither fully wrong nor right, and both perhaps too quick with punitive moves.
Remove feedbacks and open comms, would be my advise to you and your vendor. There's
always time and opportunity to reinstate negative feedback and punitive filings.

Hi. I’m new here and I have a question. What do the asterisks and exclamation
points under each item mean in my store inventory?it seems all or most have an
asterisk but some have exclamation points and I have no idea what this means.
Thanks

An exclamation mark (!) below a thumbnail image indicates that there is 3D data
available

A small asterisk (*) below a thumbnail image indicates that there is a large
image (like the one you see on this page) available when you click on the small
thumbnail.
