Had a largish haul of parts with a lot of Dark Pink bricks. Whilst sorting I
found quite a few sun damaged so just binned as I found them. But just had another
look at one and I don't think it is sun damage after all. It has totally
changed colour and completely consistent throughout. I would say this is the

The color Dark Pink was changed around the same time that the new grays replaced
the old grays in 2004. So there are two true distinct shades of Dark Pink:
LEGO color 22 Medium Reddish Violet (early Dark Pink)

LEGO color 221 Bright Purple (modern Dark Pink)

I don't know if this explains the difference in the color of your parts,
but I thought you should be aware of the history of the color.

I have never been able to tell the difference with certainty. I have bought parts
that must be one of the two colors because of the date the part was made. There
is so much variation that I could not tell them apart.

| I managed to get both those colours in 2x4 bricks Randy, I had them for a while
until I realised the colour discrepancy. I think I looked at those Flickr images
before, it's afab resource place for obscurities.

Hi, after they are added to the catalog they still have to be added to the set
inventory. You can submit an inventory change request to add them to the inventory

I think i submitted a request! Thanks!

If you use BrickStock, you can select all lots and choose Consolidate.

Don’t know of an “automated way” but there’s an easier way to perform the inventory
clean-up task that is consolidating lots…
First: go to: https://www.bricklink.com/inventory.asp
Second: within “Seach My Inventory” upper right section of the page, select Parts,
New and Non-Unique, before hitting the Go! tab (see screenshot
below)
Third: set Sort Items By: to Item No, Color Name (see other screenshot)
At this point it’s fairly easy to see any lots that need consolidating, and to
do so.
I perform this and other tasks every month or so, to help maintain inventory
integrity of our store.

| Hello everyone,
I have some long-awaited news for you! We have created a new Catalog Admin position
which has privileges on both sides of the system, the catalog and inventories.
This is a culmination of about 3 years of work, and we are so proud of our first
ever member to take this position, Hygrotus.
He has steadily worked his way up to this level from his years of being an outstanding
and reliable contributor, to a special class of contributor known as an Inventories
Verifier, to one year experience as an Inv Admin, and then most recently about
14 months as a Catalog Associate. We are pleased that he has stuck with the program
and now is going to forge ahead.
We are combining the two "halves" of the system for many reasons, but the main
one being efficiency. If only one admin is available on a given weekend, for
example, we can take care of contributions on both sides, which are often dependent
on each other.
We will retain the Catalog Associate and Inv Admin positions for the purpose
of training new Catalog Admins. They will be considered transitory positions.

Comments from Submitter:
The main head type of the M-Tron figures was the Solid Stud Head in 1990. I've never found a set with Blocked Open Stud Head figure, thereby I think the current inventory item list is misleading for collectors. Please change it to Solid Stud Head if possible.

It looks like this set is still in the process of having its inventory added.
Once it is done under the My Wanted List link on the set page, a Part Out link
will appear. That link will allow you to add all the parts to a wanted list you
can then use to purchase them. I don't use that feature often but as far
as I remember it will also let you edit the list to whatever subset of parts
you might want during the process, or you can also delete unneeded parts from
your wanted list later.
