Hi all,

68446c01 Vehicle, Base 8 x 16 x 2 1/2 with Mudguards, 4 x 14 Recessed Center with 5 Holes, and Dark Bluish Gray Wheels Holders
Parts: Vehicle, Base

I don’t have the parts, only 3D model for 18923c01, so could someone check they
are actually:

— 18923c01: 2 bricks high,
or 2 1/3 if you include the wheel axle brick (bottom is 1 plate lower than
the base),
or 2 1/3 if you include the top of the mudguards,
or 2 2/3 if you include both the bricks and the mudguards,

— 68446c01: 2 1/3 bricks high,
or 2 2/3 if you include the wheel axle bricks,
or is it 2 & 2 1/3? (I can’t see if it’s the base that is higher or the
mudguards that are lower),

and make the proper change request?

Thanks

Why is there no silver color for the bow and arrow? Flat silver or pearl light
grey, something like that?

Why on earth has this catalog number changed, usually the a suffix is because
a new variant has emerged but that isn't the case here, does not make sense.

Why, bearing in mind The Lego Group now own BrickLink, do we still have to wait
for set inventories to be approved? - surely TLG actually have pics of any new
parts and have the capability to provide them to a site it owns?

Hi everyone, hope you're fine.
Here's a small car, I had never seen this before.
It's made in 1 piece..
The big stud in middle lifts up when bumper's pulled out..
Has anyone ever seen it before please ?
(No Id, no year, only Lego Group written on bottom)
Thanks, wish you a nice evening

Most parts include its category at the beginning of the description. But not
always, such as as part # x577 Engine (category is Aircraft). There's a bunch
of minifig parts like this too.

The accuracy is important for me when I'm trying to build a set and all my
parts are organized by category. When I get to the engine part I have to go all
the way back to Aircraft bin to go find that part.

Am I crazy or would it make sense to change this to make it consistent?

So, I'd like to understand how scientific the measurements are for parts,
as I have come across some variation in the weights for some parts that share
the same "mould" (part number anyway).

Is it possible to request that someone re-analyse some of these to assess accuracy?

This is regarding the main minifigure hips and legs.

970c00 - 1.18g
970c00pb0966 - 1.16g - black
970c00pb0861 - 1.19g - black
970c00pb0961 - 1.27g
970c00pb0444 - 1.18g

While I'm not an expert in ink weights and color/material weights, this seems
a bit suspicious. If it was an issue of colors, then all matching color parts
would have very similar weights.

People are paying shipping based on these weights so they need to be accurate.
I'm just wondering if this has actually been reviewed, for this part in
particular?

Hi all!
So we've had the 6077 forestman set for a long time.
And, both on the instructions AND the Bricklink description, there is a mistake
on the color RED of colar for torso 973p48c01 : it IS REDDISH BROWN, not RED.
It's certified.
thanks
best regards

Why are these suggested to be moved over to animal, land? It doesn't make
sense. The category should be based on the shape of the item first, not decoration.
If this goes through, we'll have some of 19729 in heads, and then these two
in animal.

With this logic, the pink frogs should be moved to plant since they're used
as blossoms.

I have several hundred spare parts which belong to multiple sets. Is there a
way to get a parts inventory mapped to sets.
For example I know I can identify what sets an individual part is in, but is
there a way to identify multiple parts

Set 1 Set 2 Set 3
Part 1 Yes No Yes
Part 2 No Yes Yes
Part 3 No No Yes

Cheers

counterpart: means another part can play same role, like a printed tile, right?

Why this dude shows up as counterpart of itself? Shouldn't it be a little
different?

Hi all,

Can anyone tell what the difference between

*
njo574a (Inv) Lloyd - Legacy, Rebooted, 'MASTER' Torso

actually is. According to the inventory, they contain different torsos - the
color of the shirt (one being light green, the other white) and apparently "MANTER
or MASTER".

Part No: 973pb3789c01 Name: Torso Tunic, Light Green Shirt, Wide Black Hems with Gold Ninjago Logogram 'MANTER' and Dragon Pattern / Yellow Arms / Black Hands
*
973pb3789c01 (Inv) Torso Tunic, Light Green Shirt, Wide Black Hems with Gold Ninjago Logogram 'MANTER' and Dragon Pattern / Yellow Arms / Black Hands
Parts: Minifigure, Torso Assembly, Decor.

Part No: 973pb4056c01 Name: Torso Tunic, White Shirt, Wide Black Hems with Gold Ninjago Logogram 'MASTER' and Dragon Pattern / Yellow Arms / Black Hands
*
973pb4056c01 (Inv) Torso Tunic, White Shirt, Wide Black Hems with Gold Ninjago Logogram 'MASTER' and Dragon Pattern / Yellow Arms / Black Hands
Parts: Minifigure, Torso Assembly, Decor.
Given white printing is rarely actually white on dark colored torsos, I suspect
the shirt colors are the same. Similarly, is MANTER just a typo, and it should
be MASTER?

Should the torsos, hence the minifigures, be merged?

I'm wondering why there aren't counterparts, or something similar for
many minifigures. I've had many times where I'll have a minifigure that
would come with a set, but not the fig that is inventoried in Bricklink. It
is an intended figure from Lego, and may even be the primary figure based on
the instructions.

It seems that by not including these "counterfigures", certain parts have their
prices artificially inflated, as the fig cannot be sold without those parts.
I know figs can be sold just as parts, but that is significantly less desirable.
I'm sure others have run into similar issues. Some examples...there are
lots more:

Hi!

I would like to add missing minifigures sh808 and sh810 to the pending inventory

wait until the inventory for that set has been approved?

Thanks!

Hello,

Wasn't sure if I can add known/available colours for parts using the forms
so am hoping it's okay to post the request here.

Part No: 4863c01 Name: Window 1 x 4 x 2 Plane, Single Top Hole and Double Bottom Holes for Glass with Trans-Light Blue Glass (4863 / 4862)
*
4863c01 (Inv) Window 1 x 4 x 2 Plane, Single Top Hole and Double Bottom Holes for Glass with Trans-Light Blue Glass (4863 / 4862)
Parts: Window

Please can this part be updated to make it known/available in Red. Seems a bit
of an oversight that there's a photo showing it existing in Red but I can't
select the colour Red from the list of colours.

Six of them are found in set 6392 (as well as two in White). I realise they
are part assemblies (counterparts), but since it exists in White & Yellow, I
figure it should also exist in Red. Unless I am missing something and making
a glaringly obvious mistake?

Thank you
Marc

I noticed there are two kind of hips on legs:

1. Older hips part with horizontal Lego logo (I am not sure when it discontinued
to pruduce)
2. Newer hips part with vertical Lego logo (what we have today)

I want to know if anyone have idea about it, when Lego discontinued to produce
legs with horizontal Lego logo on hips?

I ask it because I want to complete some minifigures and my plan is to be as
authentic as possible, but for that I need that information.

Just a short note to mention that we have changed the color name for Satin
White
to Satin Trans-Clear. When the color was first named, the only
available parts were very small and the transparency level was difficult to perceive.
With the advent of larger parts in that color such as:

Part No: 80336 Name: Mini Doll Skirt Long Full Octagonal (Diamond Dress Container Bottom)
*
80336 Mini Doll Skirt Long Full Octagonal (Diamond Dress Container Bottom)
Parts: Mini Doll, Body Part {Satin Trans-Clear}
the transparent nature of the color is more easily observed.

The name is already changed in the root catalog. Color names on catalog detail
pages and storefronts should be changed during nightly maintenance.

I've been reading elsewhere that LEGO changed the box art, and presumably
sticker sheet, for set 42141 (McLaren F1).

I don't see any notations about this in the Bricklink catalog entry. Will
there be a dash1 and dash2 entry ... eventually? How long does it typically take
for such to happen?

thanks!

Hi people at Bricklink,

Are there delays in processing catalog submissions?

I have six submissions pending, one from January and 5 from February...

Thanks!

I noticed hol243 (https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?M=hol243&name=Forestman&category=%5BLEGO%20Brand%5D%5BLEGO%20Brand%20Store%5D%5BBuild-A-Minifigure%5D#T=S&O={%22ss%22:%22NL%22,%22iconly%22:0})
is marked for deletion because it is beleived to be a random minifig.

The minifig was however still for sale in this configuration at the LEGO-store
in Utrecht (NLD). And there were plenty of them, suggesting it was not a random
fig at all.

I would like to have opinions from vintage collectors on this one

Part No: bb0072 Name: String Reel Winch 4 x 4 x 2 with Sloped Top, Metal Handle, Black Drum and Crane Arm
*
bb0072 String Reel Winch 4 x 4 x 2 with Sloped Top, Metal Handle, Black Drum and Crane Arm
Parts: String Reel / Winch {Red}

Part No: bb0073 Name: String Reel Winch 4 x 4 x 2 with Sloped Top, Metal Handle, Red Drum and Crane Arm
*
bb0073 String Reel Winch 4 x 4 x 2 with Sloped Top, Metal Handle, Red Drum and Crane Arm
Parts: String Reel / Winch {Red}
doesn't appear in any set on Bricklink and I think the reason is:

Part No: bb0072c01 Name: String Reel Winch 4 x 4 x 2 with Sloped Top, Metal Handle, Black Drum and Crane Arm Complete with String and Crane Hook Right
*
bb0072c01 (Inv) String Reel Winch 4 x 4 x 2 with Sloped Top, Metal Handle, Black Drum and Crane Arm Complete with String and Crane Hook Right
Parts: String Reel / Winch {Red}
because of this assembly with black string it looks like all these have a black
drum.

I wanted to add a bb0073c01 to the catalogue, but I am having some doubts, because

Part No: x77a Name: String, Cord Thin (Undetermined Length)
*
x77a String, Cord Thin (Undetermined Length)
Parts: String & Net {Black}
has an undetermined length and this length could be different per set

and

Part No: 3127 Name: Hook Plate, Modified 1 x 2 with Crane Hook Left
*
3127 Hook Plate, Modified 1 x 2 with Crane Hook Left
Parts: Hook {Red}
and

Part No: 3127b Name: Hook Plate, Modified 1 x 2 with Crane Hook Right
*
3127b Hook Plate, Modified 1 x 2 with Crane Hook Right
Parts: Hook {Red}
appear in sets randomly. Both variants exist in Pat Pend, Pat Pend
Obscured ...

Since a part assembly can't have alternate parts in it's inventory, I
think it would be better to have the separate parts in inventories, instead of
the assembly.

I know set 183-1 came with a complete assembly, but I am not sure it did come
in all 9 sets as assembly (most of them have the assembly as regular in the inventory
from the start though). Set 183 has almost everything assembled.

Besides your opinion on this, I would like to ask members who have one or more
sets below, to check:
- does it have bb0072 or bb0073
- does it have 3127 or 3127b
- what's the length of the string
- did it come assembled in the original sealed box
Please mention why you think it came original with the set (had it from childhood,
was bought sealed, etc..). The more proof, the better. If you have images from
sealed set contents, I would really appreciate it. Images of black drums in catalogues,
on box and in instructions are not considered as proof, that it actually came
with a black drum.

I noticed sometimes a shop will have a greatly inflated price. This skews the
average. One simple way around this is to use the median price instead. It more
accurately portrays the state of the market. IMHO

Is this horn thing a LEGO part? I used the 1 x 1 cone as a reference for size.

Thanks for the input.

Do I understand it corrctly that there are only three types recognized by the
cat now?

Part No: 193a2 Name: Minifigure, Headgear Helmet Space / Town with Thin Chin Strap - with Visor Dimples
*
193a2 Minifigure, Headgear Helmet Space / Town with Thin Chin Strap - with Visor Dimples
Parts: Minifigure, Headgear

Part No: 193b2 Name: Minifigure, Headgear Helmet Space / Town with Thick Chin Strap - with Visor Dimples
*
193b2 Minifigure, Headgear Helmet Space / Town with Thick Chin Strap - with Visor Dimples
Parts: Minifigure, Headgear

Part No: 193b1 Name: Minifigure, Headgear Helmet Space / Town with Thick Chin Strap - without Visor Dimples
*
193b1 Minifigure, Headgear Helmet Space / Town with Thick Chin Strap - without Visor Dimples
Parts: Minifigure, Headgear

The first one only came in red, white and light grey according to the cat

However I have several yellow spacefigs that have this type of helmet and not
the one with a thick chin strap (about a quarter of my collection)

That does not match the cat?

Cheers,

Ole

I have 3 of these figures from a new/sealed 75290 set:

Minifig No: sw0554 Name: Bith Musician
*
sw0554 (Inv) Bith Musician
Minifigures: Star Wars: Star Wars Episode 4/5/6

The torso print is thicker than with the previous figures from the 2014 Mos Eisley
set (yes, I have the figures from both sets).

Is something like this grounds for splitting the torso entries?

Hello,

I recently was able to grab one of these from a friend who received it from Dell,
does anyone else out there have one? I haven't opened mine yet, but i found
a picture of a built one online, that i will attach. If t isn't in catalog
how would i go about doing that, i have never done it before.

Also, may be willing to trade it.

Thanks, NG

I have three 7931 sets. All are new and factory sealed. However, each set has
a different weight: 743 grams, 821 grams ,and 839 grams. Can someone provide
the weights of their sets for comparison. Thank you!!

I have A genuine Lego mini fig piece which is a reddish brown hair and goggles
combo. I can clearly read the part number on the inside of the stud which is
28149 but when I put this into the search box, it comes up with an error and
no part found.

This is not the first time this has happened and it is very frustrating. Are
there any plans to update the catalogue with such pieces please?

It looks that fake parts are becoming a plague- Many can be indentified quite
easily because of a different colour or slightly different shape. I recently
got two copies of the light bluishgray turntable bottom that have a correct shape
of colour but miss the word LEGO, however have as dot in the cross similar to
LEGO. Now I know from the tiles they have different texts on the bottom so this
may be the same for these parts. Illustrated are two genuine LEGO parts and the
two I doubt about.

Maybe there is someone who can tell me whether this is original, and if they
are fake let this be a warning for everyone.

This is listed as a known color, but is not included in any set or minifig. Where
was it originally intended to be used?
