  Hello,

The Bricklink administration removed one of my selling listings. The reason was
that the parts were listed in a non existent color.
The part was actually a genuine lego part, listed in the correct color. Only
was it never released in an official set, so it does not show up in the color
guide in any set. Is it no longer allowed to list such parts? As far as i know
this type of parts could be obtained in a legal way from a pick a brick wall.

Where they in a transparent color? If so it might be related to this post:

If you have proof of purchase before listing again I would recommend contacting
the Help Desk.

https://www.bricklink.com/message.asp?ID=1465103

I wonder what would that proof could look like....
An invoice from PAB with a line 'prototype part'?

Can someone give an actual example of proof of purchase that would be accepted
by BL?

A rhetorical question more than anything but I'd love if someone entertained
me with an answer still. This is the same as discovering that something that
you bought at a grocery store has mold in it, but the store refusing a refund
because you did not save the receipt.

If such an imaginary proof existed even theoretically - fine. But otherwise -
owners of legitimate parts are getting slapped in the face once for having their
listing removed, and then getting laughed in their faces by 'show me a receipt
from 30 years ago, then we will allow you to list the item".

They have removed parts that are not in official (retail set) colours, especially
minifigure parts, where they have been made by "night shift" workers
that then steal and sell them. I imagine that possibly legitimate parts have
been caught up in this.

Please give 3001special access to all colors in the catalog, including Modulex
colors.

Often when uploading test bricks, it is hard to find the exact color, so having
all colors available is a must.

Also, some test bricks actually come in Modulex colors.

It would be great if this can be added.

Thanks,
Maxx

and vice versa There have been many Modulex bricks found in standard LEGO
colors...

Now we just need 26 Black in Modulex and it will have all the classic's
(except the transparents...)

I do actually dwell on this and the stress lines we're talking about in the
other thread. I know I'm over thinking it and ideally these things turn
over fast enough for it to not be a problem, but it's why I started taking
photos of some of the bad bricks for a new section on my terms page.

Initially I did it to explain how I do my best to remove these while parting
out, but considering the high value sets I have parked in the stockroom for a
few years I feel like I need it to explain that things can be hit or miss.

I have a whole bunch of these unopened and they are all hollow studs. Let me

It most likely comes from one or more of the following sets:

https://www.bricklink.com/catalogItemIn.asp?P=2493&colorID=11&in=A

that currently contains

Part No: 2493 Name: Window 1 x 4 x 5 (Undetermined Type)
*
2493 Window 1 x 4 x 5 (Undetermined Type)
Parts: Window {Black}

When someone can prove definitively that any of those sets came with the hollow-stud
version of the window, then we can update the inventories to show that. This
will then trigger the color "Black" to show up on the catalog page for
