| HI all
I'm not sure is it the right section to ask this question but I dont understand
the VAT policy. I write regards something which has happened in the past and
now it feels a bit confusing.I took order in Indonesia, which was covered with
VAT, yet at the polish bourder i was charged same but i never paid attention
to this. What brickling charges this VAT for? does it cover everything? Is it
my fault for not reporting, that VAT was charged allready ? I feel like i was
double taxed in this case? I just dont understand this relation beteween European
regulation and internal bricklink rules. The officer at the bourder saw my invoice
Thank

What exactly has TLG done for this site.
Salty but yours is one of what seems like many a week asking the same thing.
I`m sure someone will come back with the usual "the catalogue admin are volunteers"
Well here's an idea, employ a few full time on good wages, increase the fees
a few % to pay for it if you have to.
Just to clarify this is not a rant at the OP, its just a frustrating state of affairs

Every single day new item availability within the catalog is delayed, is missed
opportunity for both vendor and site, with longer term adverse effect on activity
if consistently and simultaneously available elsewhere.
It's basic understanding of competitive resale marketplaces, which makes
the frustration real and shared by many, as regularly expressed here in the forum:

| So I signed-up to be notified when the LEGO Horizon Forbidden West: Tallneck
is back in stock. Get an email this morning that it's back in stock, yay!
Go to check and out of stock online and in my local store. The email is 35
minutes old. Apparently I should have checked right before I left for work and
may have had better luck.

|
I believe it was transparent (I can't check for certain as I sold the one
in my inventory - but I seem to remember its being transparent, and if you look
at the picture it seems to have the off-white color of the backing and not the
bright white color of stickers with a white background).

|
| Hello all,
My first time posting here.
I got a White Dragon Horse Jet (80020) set recently and something odd caught
my attention when building Mo's small craft.
In it, a technique is used to make a small frame for the craft, with stud options
to basically all sides. The core of this is specifically a 4733 piece attached
to the side of a 4070 (headlight) piece. As I progressed through the steps I
felt the final craft had a lot of tension on the frame and when disconnecting
a single piece other studs disconnected.
Never have I seen or done this before. I tried it out with other pieces I had
to the same result. Not that I have much of both those pieces lying around.
I left the craft unassembled as I was worried the pieces were getting to much
stress.
I tried looking up the technique but couldn't really find it. Recreating
it in Stud.io gives no warning at all, and the mere fact that this appears in
a 2021 lego set gives me the impression its totally legal. I am wondering what
more experienced builders think, thanks in advance.

until the 21-day hold on payments is up before he can send me the refund.
Is this 21-day hold a new thing now?

If yes, I might start sorting….
Any tips?

Yes, there is a market for it. The more you have, the better it sells. The masks
would be the first things to concentrate on.

| I have a question about the hinge brick top plate assemblies. The catalog contains
3937cxx variants, which include the 3937 1x2 hinge brick base and some color
of 3938 1x2 hinge brick top plate. All of these assemblies are counterparts in
set inventories, none are regular.
However there are no assemblies in the catalog including the 6134 2x2 hinge brick
top plate. This is the other piece designed to fit with 3937.
Why? Is there a reason to include one but not the other? Or just that nobody
has requested this? I saw no mention in my forum search for "top plate"
|
It's because you can easily destroy this assembly trying to separate it:
whereas the assembly with the larger 2 x 2 plate on top is easily separable.
|
I respectfully disagree. The larger plates also easily damage the assembly. I
believe the reason it is not in the catalog is due to the nature of how the hinge
can be built with the large top plate. We would need two entries for every one.
One with the plate facing forwards and one with the plate facing backwards. Both
of these techniques are used in official sets.

There are other minifigures in the catalogue where there are variations based
on whether or not a backpack style assembly comes with a figure, including all
the original Ghostbusters minifigures.
and so on. Plus others where there are no stickers applied even though they should
be, such as:
All these variations would need to be removed for consistency.
And the price that an item is listed for should not dictate whether it should
be removed.
