| So I was rebuilding a 2014 AT-AP (75043) and using some instructions from a previous
AT-AP when I discovered that in the back of the instructions the Wolfpack clone
trooper looks more like the 212th clones in 75036 than the real-life Wolfpack
clone (sw0537) in 75045 which looks like the 501st clone in 75002. Is there a
version like this anywhere or was this a mistake?
Thanks,
BrickCollection.

The different interior is because the set was released in 2000 and produced through
2003 (at least). In 2000 they still used those transparent part trays (inlays)
to present some interesting parts. Sets from later production runs did not have
that tray anymore and the parts from the tray just came in an additional bag.
Of course this does not explain why they changed the age recommendation. Maybe
it was just a marketing decision to make the set more interesting for younger
children (or their parents).

Ok, thank you, that explains at least part of it. So in terms of (collection)
value both sets would be the same?

I would say the set with the parts tray might be a bit more valuable for some
collectors, but certainly not that much (5-10€ maybe).

Baseplates don't have bottom tubes, so you won't be able to use them
as roof plates as you are trying to do (hence the name baseplate). Instead,
what you need is a regular 16 x 16 plate:

The recent Batmobile set inspired me to do the same for Adam West's sweet
ride. As far as I could tell the original 1955 Lincoln Futura concept car was
white or possibly light pea soup green (it's hard to tell from the old photos).
I found lots of photos of people's own concepts cars in a rainbow of colors
and red looked the sharpest so I went with that.
Even though I tried to stay close to the original LEGO design, this project wasn't
as easy* as I initially thought it might be. I had to significantly rework the
front and back ends and raise the body by half a plate so the wheels would clear
the new wheel wells (the Batmobile added a fender whereas the original Futura
really didn't have much of one). Undoing the enormous rocket booster was
also a challenge.
I'm still not totally satisfied with the back end (I've tried a number
of variations), so if anyone has any ideas I'd love to hear them. Overall
though it was a fun little distraction!
* and what's the deal with this part?
It hasn't been produced in red in 10 years! I didn't think such an unassuming
piece would be so difficult to acquire. Finding a seller with 6 in stock was
a challenge.

the set's box was originally destined for. If it begins with 0 or 6, that
is likely North America. If it begins with a 5, that is typically Europe.

At a guess I would say one is set 6098 and one is 6091?
Or it's possible one of the copies you have was originally sold in Europe

They have both written 6098 on them, I already checked whether that could be

Will try to put the next on a timer.
Maybe there is also a way of cleaning or oiling those motors for a better run,

I gotta agree with Bret’s input: movie scene driven, and I like it.
Empirically, I appreciate smoothness in Lego builds. Not a fan of stud exposure
for builds. It’s more of a challenge to create/design Lego builds without it,
but well worth it.
After all, we can’t have it all, though it doesn’t stop us from trying... Just
refrain from moving the build around, or take the pieces off of the board before
doing so
Btw, too many of the recent (Disney) Lego SW set designs seem not to consider
this, and they suck completely, imho of course.

Well, to be honest, I _did_ teach quite a bit back in late 1990 - early 2000.
I was a fully licensed Microsoft/SCO/SuSE/RedHat/Symantec instructor, doing one-off
low-level network security courses for the DoD and the NATO in the Netherlands
(including some hacking stuff - that always made people "oooh" and "aaah" - fun
times). Then things became too "main stream", new "instructors" got licensed
because they didn't make enough mistakes on their instructor's exams,
they only tried to regurgitate the course material (I had to take over a few
classes because the so-called instructor was so bad), so that kinda killed the
fun for me.
And here I am, doing first-tier help desk support fixing printer connection issues.
Oh well. At least it is way less stressful at my age.

Yup. Your end tag is in fact a syntax error. If browsers were to strictly follow
the HTML specs, they should throw an error and "give up"on rendering the page.
Especially in the earlier days, when pages were written "by hand", this would
cause a shocking amount of web pages to fail - not very user-friendly.
| That perhaps others using other browsers may not have been seeing what I intended
all this time?

The type of error here is a syntax error. Any browser will simply throw out the
malformed tag. The remaining surrounding HTML code will then show there is a
missing closing tag (a _very_ common error), and the browser will slip one in.
| If so, don't I feel a fool...
|
Nah. People are not fools because they don't know something (just because
I don't know how to do open heart surgery doesn't make me a fool). You
did something, result was as you expected, so naturally your way of doing was
correct. And in this case it still is - it gets the job done (with the help of
friendly browsers). It was just me being pedantic.

If you're not a teacher, Niek, you're missing one of life's callings.
I understand now and getting me to understand these types of things, is no easy
task
Thank you. Greatly appreciated!

Yes.

It's possible but I'm guessing it looked fine on the most widely-used
browsers. Your H1/H2/etc. tag would have been closed automatically because it
was nested.
|
Yeah, I don't really understand this last paragraph of clarification, considering
the code as written, worked as intended. Not only for altering text size but
other things such as boldness, spacing, etc.
For myself, I'm gonna leave it as somewhat of a mystery for now. Got other
things to manage at the moment and my brain handles only so much reasoning at
a time, these days
Thank you, both you and Niek, for taking the time to offer the heads-up and attempt
to education. Very much appreciated.

The joys of browsers trying to correct errors in HTML. Certain "classes" of errors
(which most browsers try to correct - with various success) are called "tag soup":

You might want to place that "/" in front of the H" at the end there in your
picture. Computers are finicky beasts.

Nope. It's how I've always done it. And how I tested it while taking
the screenshot for the OP. But will do it again for you. Checkout my store banner

| You are the best!!!!!! this should have solved any problems I have. I might even
just close the store up, not sure if anyone is looking at inv that way, most
people are contacting me from a different website where I just uploaded a bsx
file.
Thanks again!

I would use the Banner field, too: https://www.bricklink.com/v2/mystore/display.page
It's far more visible on all product pages of your store, and difficult to
miss or ignore. The Announcement field text, on the other hand, is small
on the page periphery and can be dismissed or collapsed.

minimum buy, once I agree with someone on price I will change payment methods.

Just FYI you don't have an Onsite payment option enabled for USA buyers,
which limits who can transact with you here on BrickLink.
