| Hello all!
I have been a long time lover of Lego, and several years ago I got out of my
"dark ages" and began buying up a ton of bulk lots locally. My goal is to complete
my Classic Space collection first, and then move onto Futuron, etc.
The second intent is to sell complete or nearly complete, used-vintage sets to
keep the hobby going. I'm sure this is what many of you are doing as well.
I have been building up a very large list of sets, and my thought has been to
"hit the ground running" listing everything at once so that buyers are encouraged
to add some smaller sets to their purchase, to save on shipping costs. The small
sets may be difficult to sell without something rarer or bigger to draw the buyer
in first.
Is this a sound idea?
I have read in several posts here, and on other forums that say it is potentially
a bad sign to list a ton of valuable sets/pieces with very little feedback as
scammers tend to do such things. I intend to provide original photos of each
set with my seller name watermarked in said photos.
I have a decent amount of experience selling items on Ebay (vintage automotive
parts, nearly 500 items sold in 2 years), but none whatsoever as a seller on
Bricklink.
I have been sorting and cataloging hundreds of pounds of bricks off-and-on for
nearly two years now, and hope to get a lot listed here shortly. At this point
I do not intend to sell individual pieces unless they are particularly rare or
valuable due to the fact that nearly 100% is good condition used parts. My loose
bricks will be used to complete other sets to be sold.
Any advice, questions, or critiques are welcomed!

| Hi there,
I'm a seller from germany.
Since last year i get some feedback from US-buyers, they can't order in my
store. They get a popup window in ordering process "seller does not ship to US
state ..." (here Maine, California).
In my settings i only see "sending to 100% of all countries worldwide". Where
is a setting for single US states? Interesting also that states like Florida,
Colombia are still working. Is there any tax setting missing?
Hope somebody can help me.

| I had a pair of the doors (823bc01) for the set 325 - Shell Service station,
which I sold. The customer now says they don't fit the other pieces she has,
the doors are too small.
She wants a refund and I'm not sure if I must comply. These pieces are approx
55 years old. Is it possible that they would no longer fit, or are there subtle
differences in sizes if some of the other parts are from later moulds? The piece
they should fit to is part number 821. In the picture she sent she is used white
ones, although the original set lists light grey ones - would this make a difference?
Advice required please

| I found these tyres and wheels in a box with parts from 1958 to 1973. The wheels
are like old 7039 (no traction), but the pins have a small groove.
More interesting for me are the tyres, didn't see them before.
Anybody knows them?

| So I have used brickstock for years to make mass loads into my inventory. Worked
fine yesterday, today it is not pulling in the data from bricklink on the items
I add.
Read that it is no longer being supported, so figured it was time to upgrade.
Downloaded brickstore, but when I try to open it, I just get a blank white screen.
Anyone else have that issue (Win10 X86)?
Is there any other inventory management programs that sellers recommend?

| According to a customer attempting to buy from my store, they are unable to send
an order due to a Bricklink API error.
Speaking with said individual I've ruled out any other factor including a
possibility it could be something to do with PayPal.
I just realised today that the error might lie in the fact that I have an option
turned on in my store disallowing anyone with negative feedback from buying from
my store.
Does this include someone with 0 feedback, or is it purely individuals with a
negative score?
I know I may be asking a question with an obvious answer, but I'd like to
rule out the possibility that it's an error on my end.

| Hi there,
Is it possible to cancel an order after it was paid. Buyer bought something,
paid for it, and then immediately wanted to cancel. I couldn't go through
the Bricklink order cancellation process because the order had been paid. I
refunded via PayPal but now I'm wondering if the fees Bricklink took out
on this order are just in limbo.
Sorry if a silly question.

einzige Bestellung mehr bekommen habe. Gewöhnlich ist der Monatsbeginn ja immer
stark. Besonders überrascht bin ich, da ich Ende Mai 5000 neue Teile zu meinem

I have the complete modular building collection, and I am looking to sell off
most/all of it if I get a good enough price.
The collection includes every full size building from this category, but none
of the mini models.

| I have a question on an order I shipped out. The order was shipped out and missing
3 parts and a NSS was filed on me after 7 days after the order was delivered.
I was never contacted on the missing parts so I could send them until the NSS
was filed which was today. I packed the 3 parts that were missing tonight and
are going out in the mail in the morning via priority. Shouldn't the seller
try to contact me first and work this out instead of filing a NSS. This seems
a little over the top by doing the NSS instead of letting me know first. I don't
mind fixing a mistake but to file a NSS without letting me fix it first. Some
help would be great because I feel bad I missed 3 parts but will do anything
to make sure a person gets there parts that they ordered. If they don't
remove the NSS what can I do after the I send the parts to avoid this being completed.

Anyone had this issue.
I received an order, it was paid, but not marked paid on my order page. I went
to mark it paid but it's grayed out and although I have shipped it, I'm
unable to mark the order as shipped.
I asked the buyer to mark it paid, but he is also unable to change the status?

In the above video is a brand new set being opened, you can see the string a few times and I estimate its length to be about 17-20cm, which would make the 20cm string the correct part for this set.

| Hello, sorry, I am new to Bricklink and am looking to purchase a set of legos,
much like the standard Lego "Classic" set. I am really just looking to augment
my son's current set of legos. I can't quite tell how to find randomly
created sets like that on the market.

| Since some months or a year ago I have been noticing that some parts feel the
same, newer ones have a matte finish (or not shiny?) and weight less.
For example:
Left matte weights 0.57g
Right shiny weights 0.64g
So be careful if you weight them to count... the difference could be big.
PD: Someone posted in the forum some time ago a huge difference in weight between
two 100u bags of the same part, but couldn't find it to reply now.

6628a received an upgrade.
The new 66906 has a visible (and tactile) anti-roll dent on collar
which is functional: it does not roll on inclined tables.
So, split or just notes?

| Good morning, as the title says, problems with ordinary shipping without tracking.
I have already had some dislike with this method and I am considering removing
it, maybe I will lose sales, but surely I will also avoid taking a negative point
without any fault, because you do not know if the client has the package and
wants the money to be returned ( the old paypal trick) or that the postal agency
has lost the package.
What would you do or do about it?

| Is there a sort of limit on how these should be listed? The medium and thick
string is easy enough to untie from my experience, but when it comes to the thin
string
I have found it nearly impossible to untie this string from parts without damaging
the string.
So the question is what parts would be considered an acceptable counterpart?
There are some assemblies I imagine may not be counted as so, such as the drawbridge
string in Black Monarch's Castle (The string is tied to two pieces with various
pieces caught up in the middle) and the hook string in a few of the vintage pirate
ships (this is often strung through one of the mast segments)
I have noticed a few parts that have counterparts listed already, such as these
pieces:
