They did a great job designing it and the price seems to be really good too.
I look forward to getting one to build and several to hold onto and if it parts

currently you cannot use more than one promotional code for physical rewards."

Yes, but no? What does this mean? Yes I can but not for something physical? What
the heck would I redeem that isn't physical, a screen saver I guess? Lame.

If you know the answer please respond with a simple yes or no because my little
brain needs that simplicity. If it is a yes, then how do you do it?

You can use multiple VIP vouchers in an order, but the vouchers that are physical
rewards items can only be done 1 per order, like recently the VIP coins.

To expand, if I want a set that costs $300 how can I redeem $300 worth of VIP
points in one shot? There is only space online for one voucher. I've searched
the internet and I'm not the only one with this question and apparently you
used to be able to redeem all your points if you want. I know one guy who bought
the $800 Millennium Falcon with his points. Can you not do this now?

There are 2 places where you can redeem codes on the Lego website.
The first one is in your basket where you enter codes for VIP promos like the
coins (you can only do one of these per transaction)
If you click proceed to checkout, just before you enter your payment details,
you can add the voucher codes from VIP points. You are able to add multiple of
these.

Hope that all makes sense and is helpful.

Paul

Thank you, Paul and all - I'll try multiple vouchers. Since there was only
one field I was reluctant to cash multiple $100 fir fear I could not use the
2nd and 3rd one on the same order

In other words, you should be able to claim 3 $100 vouchers and apply them at
checkout. I don't know if in-person works that way.

My take:
VIP points are redeemed through “discount vouchers” that you “buy” with your
points.
“Promotional codes” are something else (“enter YAY10 and get a 10% rebate”),
though I’ve never seen LEGO do that :/

Yes.

It has been about a year for me that I used VIP vouchers but I believe there’s
a new blank space for a voucher when you fill the first one.
(Too many empty spaces, or a fixed number of spaces would just confuse people
another way.)

Lego is going all in on Monochrome in a couple weeks. Are any of these ones
that were previously impossible to get?

A bunch of them will get added to the catalog, albeit with hair.

I don’t remember who said it (Brickset or The Brothers Brick?) but the only new
part seems to be the Blue hair.

Hi everyone!

I love Lego Star Wars battle packs and the new Bad Batch show! After watching
episode 3, I was just thinking about the insane amount of money I would throw
at Lego for an Elite Squad Troopers battle pack!

I would love 4 of the elite squad troopers in that sexy black armor and green
visors! With their unique weapons, including the flamethrower! Or even include
Crosshair again (Even though he is confirmed in the Bad Batch Shuttle, which
I CANNOT WAIT TO BUY).

I would also love battle packs from other themes, such as MCU/Marvel Super Heros!
I always thought that an Infinity War type Wakanda warriors battle pack would
be awesome or a battle pack for the upcoming Lego Infinity Saga sets.

Have ya'll thought of any ideas for interesting battle packs from any theme?

Maybe it is just a year where Marvel is emphasized. There was a rumor about
a Marvel minifig series coming, but I have yet to read any confirmation of that.

So far the leaks have been Marvel heavy vs. DC.

In New Sets, Morph writes:

what’s going on. I was reading an article about how they’ve changed the numbers

a couple unknowns.

But the DC sets are pretty scarce. Perhaps they’re learning they can’t just make
sets with Batman in them? Hmm…. Naaa. Doubt they’ve learned that lesson. There
are so many potential sets they could make. A Hall of Justice would be awesome.
But I don’t know who I’d have to threaten to make that happen.

Anyone heard anything good?

after seeing release the monster sized one.

There's always a chance for a version with minifigs (like the previous two)
and Lego have the license. I will probably depend on how well GB: Afterlife does
at the box office and online and perhaps what other sets they can produce that
will go with it.

In this case, no note on the listing and no variation listed either.

In LEGO, Stuart9 writes:

I do but when I'm buying I like to check that the seller has at least two
variations listed, if they exist, so that I'm sure they separate them, just
a thought.

Thanks to all. Now I'm bummed that I spent money on that "color elemental
chart" as it doesn't list light yellow at all. Can't help but wonder
what other colors are missing.

"Bright light yellow" and "light yellow" are two different colors; the pieces
you have circled look to be bright light yellow according to the chart you have.
The pieces you aren't sure of look to be just light yellow.

However I've never seen an original 48729 part before and I couldn't
find a side-by-side comparison picture so I'd like to be sure before asking
for a reship/refund.

Please find attached the picture of the parts I received, half of them are flipped
but they all look the same on both sides. They were listed as New which tells
me there's a good chance they are 48729b but I'd prefer having a second
opinion.

Thanks in advance!

48729b has a hole on one side, 48729 does not. So you received 48729b.

I don't need the hole to tell that they are all 48729b. The shape of the
clip shows you all that you need. Also, these are very modern 48729b's because
they have a flat end on the bar side. The older 48729b's and 48729 have more
rounded ends on the bar side.

48729b Bar 1L with Clip Mechanical Claw - Cut Edges and Hole on Side
Parts: Bar {Dark Bluish Gray}

The main difference is not (only) the hole, but the shape of the claws. You did
indeed receive the b version with cut edges.

Thank you for your answer, the confusing part for me is that the hole is only
on one side, so there's no way for me to know if 48729 really doesn't
have any hole since pictures always show a single side.

But I could take pictures of 48729b without any hole either!

Yeah, I think mine would be the same. Though I have white ones that are similar.
I wonder more if it's an issue with the original rubber mix or if they
just react weirdly over time. Do you think it'd be ok if I sold them in "like
new condition" with my sets if they're ok outside of this... issue?

Are there any ideas on restoring colour to these parts without damaging them.
They can be quite pricey to buy.

Out of curiosity of this issue, I cut the rubber on a broken one apart years
back, the yellowed color was uniform all the way through. Made me wonder if it's
not always a fading issue, but some of the earlier ones from 2004 are actually
Light Gray. I just list them with a note, and I've never had anyone complain.

Hope this is clear enough Is like the regular yellow fading that happens to
light bluish grey pieces.

Feel free to post a pic tho.

It's an absolute nightmare how many fake pieces are knocking about now. Just
last week I got a few fake bionicle parts in an ebay order. I didn't even
know fake bionicle pieces from 2004 existed.

But well done for being cautious before proceeding.

Thank you

There is a very good chance they are real.
They can be marked in different ways or not at all.
Possibility’s:
1) no mark.
2) LEGO logo.
3) just a ‘C’ and/or maybe a partnumber.

Check the forum for ‘fake’, ‘logo’ and maybe even SW guns and you will find more
of these questions for all sorts of parts.

Thanks a bunch. Cheers

9V was metal tracks, with the power supplied from a central control box. For
some reason I want to say that more recent RC trains do not have metal track.

7895 is not a 9V track, it is an RC track, however, it is compatible with the
all of the track except duplo and roller coaster track.

they all arrived in about 3-5 weeks.

Thank you!

Some that I could think of:

Hippie (series 7)
Computer Programmer (series 7)

New York:
Lady Liberty (series 6)
Hot Dog guy (series 13) - Coney Island hot dogs? lol
Police Officer (series 9) - NYPD?

Thanks for any suggestions!
