Ah - then I'll just note that the BL sales tax includes all applicable sales
taxes, including county/municipality.

And Texas does levy sales taxes on shipping and delivery:

After all of these replies you have to start wondering why they call it PERMANENT
marker.

Indeed

Apparently, it mostly means the ink is waterproof: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Permanent_marker
(there’s also a “Removal” section in the article).
I guess it’s why marketers are paid the big bucks.

Is this a mistake or if not, what is the rationale for the overcharge?

The sales tax does indeed differ according to county/municipality.

Do you know if Texas sales tax applies to shipping as well? You might be using
he wrong order total (with shipping vs without) to recalculate the sales tax.

In your email client, you can configure automatic forwarding based on filters.
The filter would select the emails pertaining to new orders and the forwarding
would be to your partner's email address.

I have had success using a dry-erase marker over the permanent marker - test
it out first on a brick or something you don't care about to see if it
works on these small parts. You color over the perm. marker with the dry erase
marker (like a big circle) so all is covered and then wipe with a cleaning wipe
(Clorox or Lysol) or a damp paper towel.

Only the parts at the bottom of the set picture are from open polybags, now in
zip bags, so I cant say for sure if the tires came separate from the wheels or
already together. If any other part variants need identifying, please let me
know.

And still closed for the new 80% limited time sale.

So maybe the discount will go even higher if they don't get any orders in
their closed store.

Having messaged the seller, it is deliberate to limit the amount of sales they
take in.

Maybe it would be better to not advertise a sale daily!

If your not interested in the sale, please do not reply to the announcement,
it also says ‘see terms’ so if you are interested please see the terms.

I don't really see the point of advertising a sale daily then closing a shop
to limit the numbers of orders. So it is not a case of not going interested,
but not being able to see it.

If you are interested, shop is open now!

I experienced this about six years ago when using a nearby drop box (it was a
standalone USPS box a few blocks from my house)... I had 4 packages go missing
(no scan, nothing; like they just disappeared)... after a few weeks of communicating
with each Buyer about whatever status I had at the moment, I decided it would
be best to just accept the loss and issue them each a full refund for the orders
(even though the orders totaled over $200), I felt strongly that I couldn't
punish them for packages going missing or being stolen (and I know I'd appreciate
the gesture if I was in the Buyers' shoes)... which in many ways turned out
for the better, because each of those Buyers has been a repeat Buyer multiple
times in the years since...

It was only a few months after I had issued the refunds that I found out that
the particular drop box I had been using was consistently being broken in to
and I was lucky that I only had 4 packages go missing in the 2+ years I'd
been using it... and it was just over a year after that experience that the USPS
decided to simply remove that drop box permanently (I'm guessing too many
complaints about stolen packages), and I have been dropping off my packages at
the Post Office ever since with none going missing...

Sorry to hear about this! Maybe ask your neighbors if they have any cameras/Ring
doorbells...

One other tip for sellers, always ask for a receipt when taking packages to the
Post Office. I once had a package's tracking glitch and keep showing as "USPS
Awaiting Item". If you have the receipt for PayPal, then it proves that the package
was in, or was lost while in the hands of the USPS. It is sad the lengths people
will go through to try to rob someone of something...

If you have more than 5 outgoing packages, the mail carrier is not supposed to
do an acceptance scan. 5 is the most they will scan, and none get scanned if
you have more than 5. Once they get them back to the post office, they will not
be scanned there either. They should begin appearing on tracking once they pass
thru an NDC sorter.

You have two options, one is to generate all your postage using PayPal Multi-Order
Shipping, and generate a SCAN form. The mail carrier will scan the SCAN form,
and then click YES, the number of packages is correct. Doing the SCAN form indirectly
causes all the packages to be acceptance scanned. The other option is to take
them to the post office, and ask a retail counter clerk to do a 'Pre-Paid
Acceptance Scan'.

Nita Rae

This is great information, I never understood the purpose of a scan form until
now.
Thank you!

And yesterday's 80% 12 hour only sale (despite being told about it): https://www.bricklink.com/message.asp?ID=1268962

I own the set and kept it built since I bought it. Just recently disassembled it for storage and using BL inventory to ensure I have all parts.

Additional details about this set inventory:
It has eight Light Bluish Gray 32064c instead of eight Light Bluish Gray 32064.
