| Hi all,
I was just wondering what the deal is with adding a new set to the catalog.
After visiting a Lego certified store today I received the 40450 Amelia Earhart
tribute set, which will be available from February 22 until stocks last. As far
as I can tell, this set has not been submitted to the catalog and no pending
details are available.
Can I add this set to the catalog?
Thanks,
Steve

| Hello!
I know I can check a wanted list against what I currently have listed in my store,
but is there a way to do that same thing in my stores inventory?
Thanks!

| Sorting through my collection of mini doll torso's, I noticed the variety
of body shapes: I found 4 distinct shapes for boy, girl, man and woman. It seems
LDraw does distinguish these 4 shapes, but Bricklink only distinguishes the two
(?) FTFpb000c00 and FTMpb000c00
Could this be a catalog project to renumber the parts and distinguish the shapes
properly? Should we renumber as FTM, FTW, FTB, FTG (Friends Torso Man/Woman/Boy/Girl)?
Man (LDraw 92242):
* | | FTMpb001c01 Torso Mini Doll Man White Shirt Top with Open Collar, Reddish Brown Tie Pattern, Light Nougat Arms with Hands with White Sleeves Parts: Mini Doll, Torso |
shoulder width 10.2 mm, breast thickness 6.6 mm
Woman (LDraw 92243):
[p=FTFpb014c01]
shoulder width 8.8 mm, breast thickness 6.9 mm
Boy (LDraw u9210):
[p=FTMpb002c01]
shoulder width 8.8 mm, breast thickness 5.5 mm
Girl (LDraw 92241):
[p=FTFpb224c01]
shoulder width 8.8 mm, breast thickness 6.0 mm

| I just noticed one Bar 4L that was clearly shorter (~½ mm) than the other. It
has a LEGO logo on it, so it's genuine. Has anyone else seen this?

| It seems clear the one on the left simply skipped part of the printing process
and should not be a new decorated cone.
Although I found multiples with the same error....

| If you go to col334 - War Machine and look at photo #1 the very bottom of the
mask below the lip has silver on the center section. Almost looks like a sideways
axe head. Photo #2 shows that everything below the lip is just black.
Is one of them correct or are both valid? Does #2 have the silver worn off? I
find it hard to believe an official catalog photo would be approved with a defect.
For the record, my col334 looks like photo #2 and I want to know if that means
it's worn. It is supposedly brand new thus my concern.
Thanks!

| Hi,
I'm adding some counterparts (stickered parts) for the set 60183.
One of the items is a slope with Red and White Danger Stripes Thick Pattern.
See attached picture.
I found a similar item from another set in the catalog:
It's almost the same, the difference is the white dot in de lower left corner.
Should I add 'my' part as a new part or can I consider these items the
same?
And if it's distinctive, what name should I give it?
I'd like to hear your opinion!

Any reason this minifig is only named "Elastigirl" when she's wearing the
Mrs. Incredible outfit?

| Hi
Just wondering why a Minifigure I listed was deleted.
This is what it is...Dragon Knights - Knight 1, Light Gray Legs with Black Hips,
Black Chin-Guard, Quiver
This is my Comments: Excellent Condition, no splits or dents. Missing Quiver/Arrows.
Is it because I don’t have the Quiver? Can I list Minifigures if missing parts?
Thank you

| Hi,
I need some clarification for the part.
The inventory for this set indicates that it exists with the alternate part
So, should there be a catalog entry for this part with the police sticker on
it?
If so how would it be classified? Alternate part/counterpart?

Joe

| Hello, I don't know if this is important, but there are two different versions
of this part:
one with surface print and one with embossed print (at least in white). Maybe
this could be noted in the catalog entry.

| Okay, let me explain.
On any piece of lego, as well as the part number there is a second number, on
the ones I am looking at 15-05 & 12-01.
What does this refer to ? Is it a mould reference or a colour reference? If
colour where is this identified.
Thanks

If one is a set containing a sub-set, shouldn't there
be just one set of instructions and one box?

Author: | tonnic | Posted: | Feb 7, 2021 17:12 | Subject: | Are there differences in instructions CMF? | Viewed: | 70 times | Topic: | Catalog | Status: | Open
|
| I had a question from a buyer regarding instructions of CMF’s.
He bought some from a different seller but due to our nice communication (I guess)
he asked me why the numbering of his series 13 didn’t make sense, he also missed
some and had some double.
If I am correct these leaflets are always the same unless you mark the empty
circle by yourself.
But maybe I need to be educated myself in this case...
The packages are marked with a barcode in the earlier series, later with dots/dents/pimples.
So if I am wrong I would like to know and I can give the information to my buyer
too, I will point this forumpost to him to.
Thanks already!

I am looking for the VIP Coins. I have the Pirates Coin and now looking for the

So am I doing something wrong? Or are they still not availleble in the Bricklink
catalogue?

Author: | Miro78 | Posted: | Feb 6, 2021 10:47 | Subject: | Friends accessories pin vs bar classification | Viewed: | 76 times | Topic: | Catalog | Status: | Open
|
| This pertains the difference between Friends accessories flowers and other accessories.
There appear to be 2 classifications in regards to connections. 1) thin pin and
2) bar thickness pin.
The catalogue descriptions don't differentiate them but it affects how they
can be connected. It would be great if the descriptions reflected the difference
as the thin pin accessories can mainly be connected to hair pieces with holes
and and the like, and the bar thickness accessories can be connected to broader
parts with bar holes, including grasping by hands.
Style 1 (thin pin) are these
* | | 18853 Friends Accessories Hair Decoration, Flower with Pointed Petals and Small Pin Parts: Friends |
* | | 93080h Friends Accessories Hair Decoration, Flower with Serrated Petals and Small Pin Parts: Friends |
* | | 93080g Friends Accessories Hair Decoration, Flower with Smooth Petals and Small Pin Parts: Friends |
* | | 93080m Friends Accessories Hair Decoration, Tiara with 5 Points and Small Pin Parts: Friends |
I think these also
* | | 11618 Friends Accessories Hair Decoration, Bow with Heart, Long Ribbon, and Small Pin Parts: Friends |
Style 2 (bar thickness with pin hole on the bottom)
