I just checked and you are right, sorry. After finishing the helicopter I mistook two partially obscured 1x12 bricks for 1x10 bricks.

This is a slightly different design - the POLICE takes up more of the blue background/starts
nearer the edge in set 60023 (see image below)

listed on the parts list and shown on the image for the set alongside the croissant.

These requests were based on TLG's data so not approved. I've found no
evidence of them in set reviews but if they eventually show in sealed sets then
a new request can be submitted and then of course approved.

After going through this set, I had these pieces unaccounted for (in the supposedly correct color), but had them in the older color schemes rather than the new grays they went with later on. I just wanted to add these pieces as alternates since they don't have any currently.

It's not from a completely "new" set, but one that I put back together from
the original set I bought when it came out after being mixed with some other
generic LEGO stuff. I'm fairly certain these came with this one as I put
together all of the sets again based on their inventories on this site and I
had those pieces but not in the correct color listed in the inventory for this
set. There's no other possible place they could've come from other than
this particular set, especially considering I have the exact numbers of both
parts but just not in the new bluish gray colors.

Thanks for the info. Unless we can be 100% sure these alternates are correct
from a sealed set then I'm reluctant to approve them.
The binoculars for example stop showing up in sets in (old) dark gray in 2003:

The set in question above is 2 years later. It may be the case they found old
stock and used them up but without firm proof we are just making assumptions.

Do you have the danger stripes tile from this set to hand?
Can you compare it again to this:
The yellow corners are smaller on the one from set 75931
Also the angle of the stripes across the tile differs.

Thanks for that - please submit as a new part as the stripes are at a different
angle.
If my fellow admins (or anyone else for that matter) don't feel as strongly

There are multiple versions of the instructions (three linked from Brickset),
so it looks like this set was redesigned during production at least once and
maybe twice.

Minifigs can't have alternate heads in their inventories but I have added
a note stating that it has been found with both the 'b' and 'c'
style head.

Only 2x3 studs are visible, but based on its position in the model this should
be a 2x4 or else there would be a gap in the model.

This makes sense - there are several of part x77dc09 for sale stating they have
been knotted at one end.
But if that is the case then maybe x77dc09 really should be an x77b*** part?
rather than a 'd' ? (which looks like its for anything that doesn't
quite fit elsewhere)

I'm only going by the instructions but here's my observations:

It would seem to me that we need 2 separate entries for a left and right side
for these.
When you compare the two assembly stages (see attached) one sticker has the text
upside down from the other.
So we just need to add one of them to the inventory and change the catalog entry
to be the 'Model Left Side' entry until the other side shows up (unless
you have it there of course?)

are very similar. So here are a few details, I'd like to change/discuss:
1) I belive that the first two pictures shown for part 3626bpb0025 are in fact
the red version, i.e. wrong. Please remove them. The third image has a darker
pattern and may be the correct one, but it's very small and with black background
which may make comparison with the other part harder (that part is photographed
on a white background).
2) I'll upload new images for both parts with consistent lighting, and I'll
upload a comparison image as well. In fact, I stronly urge you to delete all
previous images -- they're either wrong, tiny or with bad lighting.
3) I'll suggest a change of the title for 3626bpb0025 (Brown pattern) to
change the color of the pattern to "Dark Red". IMHO, it's clearly not brown,
but a darker shade of red. If this is not accepted, please consider writing a
note on the parts about the shades of red instead.
4) I'll add a "Same Items with Different Pattern Style" relationship between
the two parts.
Hopefully this will make the difference between these two parts clearer, because
I don't think it is now.

BricksThatStick reached out to me since I uploaded the image for the red beard
version. I read through the thread and I'll give my two cents:
In my opinion, all the pics of bearded heads that normann1974 uploaded are brown
only. I agree there is some variation in the color between brown and red-brown
as can be seen with
and the other pic normann1974 posted, but the printing still isn't actually
red.
As an example of distinguishing the heads (and hopefully not make things more
difficult), I would say that, regarding the brown and red colors, these two heads

I do still have the head that I took a pic of for 3626bpx22 and I might have
one more. I'll take some pictures tomorrow of the various heads to hopefully
demonstrate the differences in color.

So here's my comparison pic.
In my personal collection, all the lower left head printings are pretty indistinguishable
colorwise among pirate figures as well as the cavalry figures, most certainly
not red. So for those who think their brown pattern may be red, just compare
it with a Redbeard head. As you can see, the print pattern looks to be the same
between patched and non-patched heads. (I know the top left beard appears thicker
but I think that's just from the printing looking kind of smudged when it
was applied.)

image appears to be the true red version.

The hair pattern is completely different on the two. Compare the two locations
denoted by the two different colors of circles.

I see the point.
I'll present a picture of the four red versions I have. No. 4 from the top
seems to be different, but it could also simply be that the leftmost part of
the print is missing.

My initial thought here from this picture in the post I'm replying to and
the comparison you posted up the thread is that none of these are the 'red'
version but just slightly different versions of the brown version.
I also think that the first image for
is over brightened so is not a true representation of the correct 'brown'
colour.
Similarly if you brighten the image for

| The eagle eyed amongst you may have noticed this already but stickered counterparts
now have all the set numbers in which they appear included in their title.
Previously it was a bit hit and miss, some did have them and some didn't,
but it was felt that having each set number in the titles would be handy when
it came to searching the site.
Mostly they only have 2 set numbers but some now have three or more (but there
are really not that many of those so it doesn't look messy).
There are a couple with minor differences which I'm still aiming to fix with
new catalog entries but I hope I caught all the others and that you find this
change useful when searching the site
