| Hi All,
Ive been looking for through the catalogue for various parts and have found that
some lots are coming up as zero available but still showing up for sale.
I was looking at 3700 technic 1x2 brick in dark green last week and the stores
showed up with zero in stock in the catalogue. I checked again today and all
resolved.
I then looked at orange part 6005 and same thing.
Whats going on ??
Seems off to me or is it related to these rarer parts ?

| How can you get a list of parts that you have in your inventory for a specific
set. In the price guide it will tell you how many parts you have in inventory
for a set. I want to knw what those parts are.

| Hi,
maybe it will sound strange but after a long, long break I've returned to
my youth craze and bought the Lego Taj MahaL.
Now it really matters to me to build by the instructions, means I want the build
to be 100% as intended. While I still haven't finished the build, I have
6 extra 1X1 transparent plate (3024). I've looked at the extra's inventory
on this site and damn it. I haven't seen those 6 extra parts listed
Now it drives me crazy, I retraced my steps but I haven't noticed that I
missed something. How that could be? is there a possibility the inventory list
on this site isn't right?

| Hello, I have two Questions about the Inventory of the set 7730.
1. There are different Inventory-List in the Internet. Was there really a Cable
inside the box? Light Gray Electric, Wire 12V / 4.5V with four 1-prong connectors,
96 Studs Long
2. At the alternative Items there are 31 Light Gray Train, Track 12V Conducting
Rail Curved But must it nor be 15?

| Via check-box option, It would be very handy to be able to restrict part searches
to just those sellers included in your favourite list, and separately to this,
those sellers you have open carts with.
This would be useful when adding to existing open orders (to save on shipping
or small batch orders) - If I know I'm already going to be placing orders
with Sellers A, B, C, & F, and I realise I need some more of a particular part,
being able to see which of those sellers have that part and what they're
chargning for it, is useful since I don't need to go back out to the wider
market (and shipping cost), AND I don't need to go to each open seller's
Store to search on them individually. One search does the trick.

| I was going thru some used parts and noticed I have 2 different shades of pearl
gold. I see that the plate round 1x1 comes in pearl gold and pearl light gold.
Is pearl light gold real or is it the lighter shade of pearl gold listed as pearl
light gold? I have attached an image sorry if quality is terrible, the 3 on the
left are the darker shade pearl gold.

| I am new to Bricklink. I recently decided to get out my lego to rebuild some
of my old Lego Star Wars sets. There were 2 sets I wanted to build but noticed
I was missing some pieces. I ordered two pieces last night (awaiting arrival)
for the first time, but then realised I needed more pieces for the other set.But
it says that 2 stores need my attention, why is that?

| Should I be able to push all the way to the bottom with almost no
force when I cover up the hole, or does this mean that the part is broken? This
is the first small version I've had.

| On My Inventory the dimensions for set are 582mm x 378mm. Which is
the size of the Box itself (!)
How were these dimensions populated and what can I do to remove them altogether
(not just one by one)?
(Or better yet to mass-set the dimensions correctly.)

| For quite some time now there have been discussions on the forum about catalogue
changes as well as other areas of improvement to the site (Performance etc.).
There have been lots of different people involved and Russell has commented on
a couple of occasions but of course nothing is out in the open for plans at present
whilst the Lego takeover completes.
One thing I find strange and that is with all the talent (Programming wise) that
exists on the site, coupled with the technical Lego knowledge that also exists,
no one other than a couple of people have chimed in about getting some senior
analysts involved with a plan to redevelop. This is a very complex site but it
can be broken into segments |(elements) many of which can be handled by existing
software. For example the core processing behind the site is an order processing
system. We are aware of at least two products which could deal with that side
of it easily and have been built with 'linking in' other elements in
mind.
Inventory control, which in our opinion, is an essential element which has been
needed for some time is also out there and fits nicely into either of the two
above products. Again this needs an analyst to look at it and report to the decision
makers what needs to be done. It doesn't, with all due respect, require a
programmer to sit down and write the code first.
The catalogue is a different animal and needs a huge amount of thought. The data
currently held is priceless - not sure even Lego have it all, so that needs some
TLC and a significant amount of time spent to come up with the best way forward.
But, and it is a little word with a great big meaning here, the costs of doing
this are nowhere near outrageous and if libraries of code can be used e,g, order
processing, inventory control etc, then huge amounts of money and time can be
saved in achieving what is required.
The redevelopment of this site will not cost a fortune and it was well within
the means of the former owners to accomplish. They chose, for whatever reason,
not to do that - Lets hope that Lego will look at it differently.
Lets get behind hiring some senior analysts and get the project off the ground.
There was never a better time to start than now. With the strength of Lego and
its marketing machine behind the site who knows where we can go.

| One of the things that BrickLink needs, is better brand identification in the
larger community of potential buyers. It occurs to me that one way to work towards
this goal is to have BL logo stickers (I.e. The same icon contains the smiling
yellow face 2x2 brick logo). This type of sticker has been used by Apple, in
that one is included with every Apple product. Over the past ~20 years it has
been a white Apple with a bite missing, white the original incarnation was a
6-color Apple.
Our new benevolent overlords have extensive experience in producing stickers,
and presumably they have access to the ability to produce large quantities, that
we (the sellers) could include one with each order. Eventually, you would start
seeing them stuck on laptops and the rear windows of vehicles. Free advertising
for BL !

Set 8163 should include tires 30.4 x 14, but without the VR designation. The wheel (345837) does not work with the 30.4 x 14 VR tire (345841). The VR tire is slightly larger on the inside. I could not locate the correct tire without the VR designation on the Bricklink site. I took a picture if you want it for verification.
I bought one complete set (372824) and it was correct, but the extra tire I bought included the VR. That's how I discovered the problem.

| Doing some shopping and browsing and I have come across a few items that say
they are scheduled to be deleted from catalog. I’m curious if that mean removed
so I can no longer find/buy that piece and if that’s true then how would you
go about obtaining it? Also why would any piece be removed from the catalog?
Perhaps I’m not understanding the why behind it. Can someone explain to me please

| Adding changing/moving banners makes me nervous and feels like random ads and
topics on tabloid sites that want to desperately generate clicks. Please, this
is not a site for hyperactive children used to fast cut youtube videos who might
think this is a good idea. Keep still images on Bricklink and put everything
that moves to the main Lego.com site, which can't be made worse anyway. Thanks.
