Since you all are discussing one private trade, should you both be discussing
this in pms?

Premenstrual syndrome (PMS)?

Btw, we were discussing this 2 hours ago on here and one of us is new to the
site.....

Relax and the symptons will subside.

Maxx

I apologize. You are right. Every transaction has a right to be discussed in
the forums and not via private messages, errr, I mean your PMS. We are all in
your circus and are your Monkeys

Note that private trades, as in: trades outside the Bricklink order system, are
not allowed, and are therefore not allowed to be discussed at all - whether in
the forum or in private messages. That would be fee avoidance. That's why
Maxx is asking for it to go via Bricklink order.

On the other hand, this isn't a transaction that involves money, and I'm
not entirely sure what the policy is on that.

I will buy his listed items, he will pay fees, and we both hope the postman isn't
having a bad day?

A remark of this kind would worry me a bit.

Nah, I understand what the Devil means.

I would send any client six pictures, before end-sale.
They would also receive the tracking number on that day.
Geez.

I'm not as discouraged as you're trying to make me.
If anything, this reflecting poorly on yourself.

I'm nothing but honest and upfront. I have provided multiple pictues for
any potential buyer - I am unsusceptible to bullying.

Don’t take the bait, relax, you are new here and people are reacting to that.

Admin should look into your behaviour?

Nah, just don’t feed them by reacting to every fart.

I do need to pop-off.
That is not my be all and end all?

You should recognise atleast four of them!
If they're not my exs most valued bricks, I'll crack it!

Yep...F1-F4. Amazing/spectacular.
He cannot thank you enough apparently.
I still don't get it exactly, but I also do not mind.

Ya bloody twit!

No - apparently Michel Firnhaber is on top of the list?
Due to price and/or availability at that particular point in time - but that
was only by chance

Admin should look into your behaviour?

If anything they'd be more concerned about some posting over 30 replies to
a single topic. The whole forum is flooded with your topic now, the others have
mostly disappeared at this point. A simple trade like this really shouldn't
take such massive amounts of messages...

I like to respond to every complainant personally, which I've done.
I don't see a single problem?
I haven't attended to this post in over thirty six hours.
Gee wizz.

I'm nothing but personable and accomodating, provided pictures and comments
to every single respondant - most of which have been nothing but positive.

I'm still not discouraged.

Bricklink can evaluate this entire thing however they want.
I still love a Bricklink.

Apparently.

And another seven messages - you don't get it yet so I will repeat my advice
again: Please use fewer messages for more content. It saves people time reading
these posts and it makes it much easier to navigate the forum. Thanks in advance.

There is no other content, and if anything I'm adding to interest (minimalising
my content within one single post).
All of my messages are regarding high content/valued members.
See ya 'round, like a rissole

Don't discount any of my other posts, I do think they are equally valued

All of those bricks belong to my ex- boyfriend/baby daddy. He is a total sook!
And can't be bothered with this business. I do still believe he deserves
one single amazing green/trans green brick. He's not that bad!

There are no rules!

I then need to determine if it should be added to the inventory at all. The official
part count for the set is 466 pieces, and the current inventory contains 466
pieces. Therefore, LEGO did not count this "multipack" of rubber bands as a single
part like modern multipacks and counted the two rubber bands needed for the build
as Regular Items. The other five would then be considered Extra Items as they
are currently listed in the inventory.

In conclusion, I see no reason to add this part to the inventory, and this request
will not be accepted.

Cheers,
Randy

I didn't think clear bags of parts with a PCC were being added to the catalog.
There are a lot of those in Belville/Scala.

Relax and the symptons will subside.

Nah, just don’t feed them by reacting to every fart.

I do need to pop-off.
That is not my be all and end all?

mostly disappeared at this point. A simple trade like this really shouldn't
take such massive amounts of messages..

Wish I would have thunk of that.

Gee wizz.

Bricklink can evaluate this entire thing however they want.
I still love a Bricklink.

Apparently.

Admin should look into your behaviour?

If anything they'd be more concerned about some posting over 30 replies to
a single topic. The whole forum is flooded with your topic now, the others have
mostly disappeared at this point. A simple trade like this really shouldn't
take such massive amounts of messages...

Nice attitude. You have probably alienated many people that might have traded
with you with the constant posts about it. If you have a trade or swap value
in mind you should just tell people what that is.

You're weak.

I apologise to you personally.
And - I mean that.
Take that however you will.

I am more than accommodating.
If anything I've been generous.

If anything - you're slightly above Maxx, on my list.
Love ya.

All 2x4 bricks are common - some less than others.
They're not diamonds, although I do also think that this market may be controlled
as such.
Pffft to you.
I'm still ultra-keen

Thank you - it has to be very rare?
I know what I got for the last brick I sold to a local buyer!
Somehow I want more for my last one.
It would assist 3001 collectors more than any other brick?

It looks like this is going to be the work of the devil.
Just mention your price and look if a collector is interested.
Stop playing the devil like this.

I know this brick is rare!

Rare is a weird word, most 2x4 collectors I know have one, do we need more than
one?
I had some rare bricks 3 years ago, now they are mainstream.....

I don't want to be an advocate, but it seems to be inherant?

You are just finding out what this brick might be worth and that is a tough question
to answer.
It is more rare than trans green, I only priced it so high because no one has
one in their store.

All I want do here, is have one fair trade!

No problem, you can ask around, I try and be as fair as I can, if we do not end
up trading, no problem

I would estimate a flat silver 2x4 brick is about €50 to €70, but as with all
rare items, it only takes one buyer to get you €100.

Now, would I pay €50 for this brick, no, I own one and that is enough.
Would I trade for one, sure, I like having as many as possible different colors
of 2x4 in my shop

No-one else can provide you with as many colours as myself?

Have a look at that thick-walles trans red!
That is mothing but pink - even in this light!

If you know what you want for it then open a store, list at the price you want
for it and wait for someone to buy it.

I would send any client six pictures, before end-sale.
They would also receive the tracking number on that day.
Geez.

We all feel this with every sale/trade we make, up until completion?
Gee wizz.

I only ever send my items fully tracked/insured. That is an extra cost I am willing
to absorb. Just so you know!

So how rare is it then? I am curious as there doesn’t seem to be any up for sale
so no idea on what price these would be?

Thank you - it has to be very rare?
I know what I got for the last brick I sold to a local buyer!
Somehow I want more for my last one.
It would assist 3001 collectors more than any other brick?

It looks like this is going to be the work of the devil.
Just mention your price and look if a collector is interested.
Stop playing the devil like this.

I know this brick is rare!
I don't want to be an advocate, but it seems to be inherant?
All I want do here, is have one fair trade!

If this brick isn't the most current/wanted/valued 3001 brick, I'd be
surprised!
It has to be worth more than a trans-neon green, or thin-walled trans green easily?

It is rare, but not the rarest/most wanted
Great find though, I hope you can find many more later!

Are transparent thin-walled greens rarer than thick-walled transparent greens?
Please don't discount yourself asmuch of a LEGO icon as Maxx. I value your
opinion.
What would you rate my brick, value-wise?

If everyone doesn't already know of Maxx, that'd be a sad day for LEGO

Well...what about a thin walled transparent green?

As a trade?

I think I have one in my shop, go buy it and pay with this one.

Maxx

I'll have a look in your store now.

Your brick is labelled as thick-walled.
I already have a thin-walled trans green, but you can never have too many!
Do you have any quadrates? I'd like both grey and black.
I know of you - if anyone does, it's you :p

Oh, did not check that

I do have quadrates, pm me and we can discuss a trade.

I want you to have my flat silver - she's a bewdy!
I'm fresh, if you pmed me, it would be far easier.
Complicated site this one is.
I'll check my settings!

She's as fresh as a daisy!

Yes sir - I trust you as a trade partner
Ofcourse I'd send first in any instance, and I thank/trust you in that regard.
Thank you

Since you all are discussing one private trade, should you both be discussing
this in pms?

That is my preference.
Any deal will be made via Bricklink.
I would like every member to see that deal, whatever it may be.

Great catch!

You are correct. Only two are used in the build: one in Step 9 on page 13 and
one in Step 8 on page 27.

Request accepted.

Sets: Town: City: Police

* Add 1 Part 3010pb152 White Brick 1 x 4 with White 'POLICE' Short Font on Blue Background Pattern (Sticker) (Counterpart)

Comments from Submitter:
Please add counterpart 1x, part 3010pb152, brick 1x4 with ‘police’ sticker.
See booklet 2, instruction 27, there is the sticker added to the part.
Thx.

Looks like this is not the correct sticker for this set. The font on the sticker
in this set is bigger than on

Part No: 3010pb152 Name: Brick 1 x 4 with White 'POLICE' Short Font on Blue Background Pattern (Sticker) - Sets 7285 / 7288
*
3010pb152 Brick 1 x 4 with White 'POLICE' Short Font on Blue Background Pattern (Sticker) - Sets 7285 / 7288
Parts: Brick, Decorated
Looks like the correct stickered part should be

Part No: 3010pb103 Name: Brick 1 x 4 with White 'POLICE' Bold Font on Blue Background Pattern (Sticker) - Sets 7498 / 7743
*
3010pb103 Brick 1 x 4 with White 'POLICE' Bold Font on Blue Background Pattern (Sticker) - Sets 7498 / 7743
Parts: Brick, Decorated

i choose nr 152 because it is the same sticker and year it came out (2011) like
this part in white

Part No: 30413pb013 Name: Panel 1 x 4 x 1 with White 'POLICE' Bold Narrow Font Large on Blue Background Pattern (Sticker) - Sets 3648 / 3661 / 7498 / 7744
*
30413pb013 Panel 1 x 4 x 1 with White 'POLICE' Bold Narrow Font Large on Blue Background Pattern (Sticker) - Sets 3648 / 3661 / 7498 / 7744
Parts: Panel, Decorated
this comes from same set 7498.
part 103 is much older, from 2008.
Am i incorrect in this?

It looks like Lego used different fonts for stickers from the 2011 sets. As you
can see in the image 3010pb152 has a smaller font with more empty blue space
above and below the letters. In set 7498 there is a bigger font with less empty
blue space above and below the letters just like in set 7743. See my attached
image of the stickered 1x4 bricks from the 7498 and 7743 side by side. So in
this set 3010pb103 would be the correct stickered counterpart.

Hello, i see that they added the part 3010pb103, thats oke, now i see your comparison
pics, i was wrong in this.
Thx, Arthur.

Brickset is a good way of doing that.

Hi!

As you're a seller, you can use "Stockrooms" here on bricklink. By default
there is only one Stockroom, but you can enable 3 Stockrooms in the settings
(A, B and C). You could use one of them for your personal collection for example
- that would be the easiest solution without any additional program or website.

Kind regards,
Michael

I apologize. You are right. Every transaction has a right to be discussed in
the forums and not via private messages, errr, I mean your PMS. We are all in
your circus and are your Monkeys

Note that private trades, as in: trades outside the Bricklink order system, are
not allowed, and are therefore not allowed to be discussed at all - whether in
the forum or in private messages. That would be fee avoidance. That's why
Maxx is asking for it to go via Bricklink order.

On the other hand, this isn't a transaction that involves money, and I'm
not entirely sure what the policy is on that.

There is actually a trade section of the forum, so they are allowed to be discussed
in the forum.

https://www.bricklink.com/messageList.asp?ID=75

The policy is straightforward: any trades must go through a (or at least one)
store as normal, as if money is trading hands. Just that instead of money, the
trade is sent in its place.

Not sure. But I do know that Lego supplied these assembled as both variants
appeared in the pick-a-brick at Legoland Windsor around the same time as the
set was in production.

Based on that and the instructions it seems almost certain that they also came
assembled in this set.

Items approved.

Btw, you are new here, but all trades/sales go through BL.

One side buys from the other side, in this case you would buy the agreed upon
trade from my store.
And your payment in this case is a brick.

This way BL gets its share and everything is covered on BL

Are there any plans for the inventory for the Disney Train to be posted?

BrickLink inventories are provided by volunteers. When someone out there who
owns the set decides that they would like to add the inventory to BrickLink,
then the inventory will become available. Until that time, you will have to be
patient.

Not sure. But I do know that Lego supplied these assembled as both variants
appeared in the pick-a-brick at Legoland Windsor around the same time as the
set was in production.

Based on that and the instructions it seems almost certain that they also came
assembled in this set.
