brings to mind an idea that briefly visited my headspace some time ago:
A type of reverse want list. That is, a way that sellers could peruse the current
want lists to specific buyer's needs, to then as a seller, proactively engage
members like Wayne with offers on items they have on their want list.
Kinda like amping-up the want list and selling process, by getting the sellers
more involved in increasing their sales by actually selling
It's just a rough draft of an idea. Limitations, restriction and other refinements
of the idea, expected.
But hey, BL shot-callers, it speaks directly to upping the sales numbers!

As long as I could opt out of it, I would be all for it. I don't need sellers
spamming me with offers of things on my want list.
Cheers,
Randy

| Sadly, "coming soon" has a different meaning to BL:

| In the Game category, there should be sub-categories, like 'Bionicle'
and 'LEGO Games', but I think they would add it anyway if someone used
the 'Add or Change' feature and set it up ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

| In searching through the categories for Lego sets, I could not find one that
included Lego games. Over the years Lego has produced many games: chess sets,

little market for used game sets? In either case, I felt disappointed in the
absence of such a category.

I've always followed a couple of rules that at some point i have read on
these forums:
If you can't find a set - check "Gear"
If you can't find a part - check "Fabuland"
Sets that look like sets, but aren't, are usually gear.

I voted NO. It's already there under main category 'Gear'.

| Thanks.
Now I found the settings I need

| Hi.
Is it possible to create a list after the checkout, in which the wish lists can
be recognized, where the parts came from?
Maybe with a new function?
Would be great!
|
I believe a simple note for each lots of the order with "WL AAAAAAA". I have
also issues remembering why I order some parts sometimes (no, nothing related
to Alzheimer ), especially when it takes a few weeks.
Also, code from cart view could be re-use for order, to have the WL on the left
side, with checkboxes to watch only a subset at a time, inside each indidual
order.
And ultimately the same display with all orders, date filter (+ seller, country
of origin, whaterver filtering you need), order woud be picked according to item
from selected WL and highlighted in the order on a pop-up displayed page.

| Hi.
Would it be possible to add a function that would allow us (buyers) to check
our orders part by part? (using a hook or something like that)?
For more than 100 parts it's always very cumbersome, with printing lists
or something like that.
It would be great!
|
Did you notice the "temporary checkboxes" link at the bottom of the order details
page?
|
oh, no, not yet. Where do I find the "order details page"?
I just know the order placed page...

| It would be so much easier if BrickLink could connect to Royal Mail and download
orders like you can on eBay. I’d be happy to pay a little more on fees to accommodate
it.
Also if the shipping could be a little easier, I used to prefer the old way of
selecting a country, but I know the change was for auto invoicing etc.
Is there any guide that can help me or suggestions on making things easier?
|
Even if the order download would include addresses like it does on Brickowl it
would make things simpler. Just download as a CSV and upload into RM click and
drop.
