included in new sets.
The question which should be answered before we proceed here is whether the torsos
with stickers already applied were included in sealed sets or not. I'm sure
someone here knows the answer to that . . . ?

Maybe it's time to change that note (delete) and add the stickersheet to
the sets we know (like set 889 for ex.)
When in a later run the minfig in this set was the printed torso then this minfig
need to changes as alternate as 'MID 1' and the stickersheet and minfig
as regular with the 'MID 1' like we have done in other sets.

I am amazed how all sets were neat and complete in their boxes. Only the small
space sets missed their boxes.
More interesting is that there was a letter inside the set 7725 which was the
answer of a Lego sale manager concerning the set 7725 and how to use transformer.
The owner was overly organized.
The older train 171 may not have come from the same buyer. The seller of this
item received donation to sell and spend for the charity.
On the other hand, I had seen this stickerred torso in various websites. One
of them is even in the inventory of

Unfortunately, most AFOL consider bricklink as the ultimate source and all that
is true about inventories. IT is really not. One commnet:

Having worked with inventory of vintage trains from 70-80, I am 100% sure non
of them were inventories based on a sealed set rather they were inventoried by
checking the instructions. All mistakes I see come from instructions. Whenever
something is missing is because it is not present in its instructions or on the
box
I don't know about stickerred minifigs and I don't know if the space
sets were inventoried the same way as train sets.
Hopefully some collector see this post and write an anwser.

Is it not a bit 'dangerous' to change set inventories based on a big
lot of used lego. Even if the sets seem to be complete and in good condition.
Such a change should only be made if the source of the existing inventory is
not a sealed set.

Hi
Set 889 came with the stickered torso/minifig. Got this as my 2nd set when I
was 5-6y old.
Later they changed the Space minfigs and all came with printed torso.

Updated inventory for the "Extra" parts included with set. I opened 3 sets, and they were all identical with these updates.

Totaly unrelated to the request but only two more inventories change request
and we will have 10000 open inventories change request (it is currently 9998

No because in this particular set this part come already as complete assembly,
so that is why is in regular section as one. This is only happen in City sets.
Similar situation is with this part

| I asked again the Swedish train collector. He confirmed that there are 5 black
legs in his set. His set was not sealed. But he bought it, together with 725
in an excellent condition. Looks to them like the parts were never touched.
My suggestion is to leave it with 5 legs as it is based on instructions. If a
6th leg should be included, then we would need a better evidence.
Correcting vintage sets is sometimes too difficult. I think I need to find a
time travel machine and then travel to the past, discuss with some managers of
TLG and get some help from them.

So a vintage train collector has confirmed what the instructions are showing
with his copy of the set.

Those photos actually show six legs. Two with the figures on either end of the
carriage, 3 on the nose and legs of the horse, and an extra one mounted behind
the figure on the rear of the horse.

This set was released in 2008 and I added it to the BrickLink catalog in 2016
when I found it in an Education catalog. In 2017, member MidwayPete reported
finding a new copy of the set and posted a photo on flickr:

In response to my request for further information, he posted this in the forum:

Unfortunately, after repeated attempts to contact him via PM he never followed
through. I have constructed a partial inventory consisting of the known contents
and noted what was unknown. I added some of the bags for this set to the BrickLink
catalog in 2010 because at that time some of them were being sold individually
on the LEGO website (the Shop at Home, I believe, but it could have been the
Education website).
I believe there is a copy of this set at the MERIT Library in Madison, WI in
the Teacher Education building if anyone would be interested in completing this
inventory.

Total Anarchy. I just opened MISB and built the Detective's Office
a few weeks ago. My extras don't agree with BrickLink or Rebrickable.
While I agreed with 2 extra Red
I also have 2 extra
and 3 extra
I have the ability to note any differences in my personal inventory at Rebrickable.
It's up to you if you want to change the set to reflect this at BrickLink.

Source for original inventory was given as set instructions. Therefore, submitter could not have known whether 4032 or 4032b was included. Numerous changes have already been made to this inventory to correct errors.
The year 2011 is currently the last year for 4032b and this set is one of only 4 sets in which it appeared that year.
Additionally, a sealed set appears to show that 4032 was included instead of 4032b. This can be seen here:

Though this set is hardly “normal,” with all the water round plates needed (284).
It isn’t unbelievable that “rules” for bags of mixed bricks with a couple of
round plates aren’t the same than the ones for special bags with dozens of them.
Now, what I think is that TLG noticed we had their rules figured, so they randomly
change them.

of bags numbered '2'. Normaly Lego add one extra of part 4073 per bag
(of course there are exeptions like in some 2017 sets), so from this logic there
should be two extra only (part is in two bags). Here I also see only two extra
