Good afternoon,

Had a question for anyone who has received an NSS alert on an order before from
a buyer. I gave a partial refund after NSS had been initiated by the buyer over
one month after the order had been received by buyer.

I understand that BrickLink does not really get involved with NSS alerts, but
does a partial refund for the issues buyer claimed was wrong in order allow for
NSS to be removed? Or do I have to physically ship an order out?

Prior to this I did not know NSS alerts existed.

Thank you,

-Deciphured Bricks

yes, if you send proof of shipping and/or refund to the helpdesk they will (eventually)
remove the nss. tho lately the help desk seems broken so it may be best to email
bricklink directly tho I dont remember the email off hand

Please FIRST contact the buyer and kindly convince him/her to remove the Alert.
That's your best and fastest chance!

If already done and no way, sorry, Alert may stay for some time.

To be removed by Administration, you've to prove in the NSS Alert that you
compensated buyer's claim, giving some data, like the on site refund, a screen-copy
of your PayPal account for this transaction refunded posted on imgur or wherever,
etc.

Then you'll have to wait, Administration may remove it within next 3 weeks
or 3 months.

Or never - this is why, your best chance is to talk with the buyer.

In a more general meaning, I'd recommend to solve the problems before they
escalade, ah, and to read the Help pages: you should know what an NSS Alert is
while being a seller

But nobody's perfect - apart SylvainLS maybe, even if I've serious doubts
about this, but it's another story.

Good luck!

I wouldn't assume that just because the profile was removed that your NSS
was also removed. I would email blservice@bricklink.com and find out. 2 unresolved
NSS alerts and your store gets closed down.

Good to learn. I appreciate it when folks that come to the forum for help, take
the time to let the others know how things play out. Not everyone does it. Thanks
