| Hi,
I have just been looking for an advertising light. I entered "Light & Sound"
as the search term. My search term was shortened to "light" and I was
shown gear 395 articles. Then I found this light.
The article description then said "Light & Sound".
Why was my search term shortened?
Regards
Werner

| The symbol & is not being parsed in the search engine so it stops reading the
string there.

| Interestingly enough it does work in the keyword search just not in the main
banner search.

Are you sure it isn't "sound,". If it doesn't have a space the
search doesn't find it I always use an asterisk.

|
| No. It actually removes the & symbol and everything after it in the main banner
search bar. The search it shows after is only "Light " but if you then
type in the keyword search the Light & sound string it brings up the correct
results.

I'd recommend using "light sound" as a workaround search term

If the article says "Light & Sound", don't search for "light
sound"!
