I recently started using BrickFreedom and haven't experienced this yet. Should
I close one of my stores until this is resolved to prevent double ordering of
inventory or is the inventory still syncing?

If you want to be safe then I would advise closing one of your stores until Bricklink
fixes the issue.

Processing is still happening, but currently orders are requiring processing
multiple times to update inventory due to the amount of failures being received
from Bricklink API.

Let's hope someone is currently investigating the issue.

I noticed it too, but seems to be solved by now, only lasted for an hour and
a half.
