I got my first order from a buyer in a state that BL does not collect from. How
do I find out how much to charge them? And once I do, where do I send the collected
tax?
If not that is there a way to limit who can place orders? Only from states that
BL automatically collects from? Thanks y’all!

Hi,

It’s not up to you to collect taxes in another state or country unless you’re
registered there to do so.

If the state doesn’t make BL collect its tax, it’s either up to the buyer to
pay on their own (sometimes called “use tax”) or nothing.

IOW: You’ve nothing to do.  The buyer may have something to do but it’s not your
problem and neither is it BL’s problem.

If BL didn't collect the tax, then none is required by that state. You don't
collect taxes and you don't need to limit any orders.
