| Here's the situation.
I purchased a number of sealed minifigs (all the same series with instant checkout)
but soon after, the order was canceled. The money was refunded in full but the
reason ( "they were sold out" ) seemed a bit weak. As a store owner
myself, I am frequently making sure all of my items are counted correctly and
for the price I intend. If I make a mistake, I would take the hit and not cancel
the order or if it's not possible to complete the order, give the customer
a huge apology and something to make up for it (coupon and/or a
free item, etc).
I don't want to leave negative feedback for the situation I have now. Also,
the order doesn't deserve good feedback either.
What I want to do is remove the "1 Order waiting for feedback" reminder
from the Bricklink system. I'm not sure how to do that or if it's even
possible. I just don't want to see it anymore.
I know there is also the option of neutral feedback. But I prefer not to leave
any at all.
Thanks for reading.

| The only way I could figure this out (had a similar problem, order was lost)
was to go into settings options and change it so you don’t receive any notifications
to provide feedback. Filing the order does not work.

It doesn't really matter what you would do. What matters is what the seller
would do. If the seller accidentally doubled up or sells elsewhere and messed
up, then they have made a mistake but so long as they refund, they have no obligation
to you. I have had an order from LEGO cancelled in the past due to their error.
There was no compensation offered.

Click the file box and file it. It should be no different to complete orders
that you don't want to leave feedback for.

More of a question. I was under the impression that if an order was refunded
in full any negative feedback would be removed by Bricklink (when asked).

Nope.
There can be good reasons to leave a feedback on a cancelled transaction, negative
or positive.

True that;
I contact a buyer who orders large amounts of white as an example.
My main resource is used bulk, so large amounts of white most likely have noticiable
difference in quality.
If for that reason a buyer does wish to cancel; they very most likely like the
fact that they were contacted before hand and can avoid the negative experience.
Wich can result in a postive feedback.
Best wishes.

Did you read the seller's feedback history? Most sellers are good sellers
but if you read their feedback and find that they have had a history of issues
regarding stock of parts, then you might want to change your mind about leaving
feedback for the order.
Read the positive, negative, and neutral feedback for the seller and review it,
then decide if you want to leave feedback for the order. With positive feedback,
it can be hard to spot feedback left as positive that is not positive but what
you are looking for is recent feedback that conveys implications regarding the
stock issues the seller had with items for sale.
Cheers ...
