I have come across A SW blaster Part ID: 58247, It is stamped Lego but the color
is light nougat. Any ideas where it is from? I can't find it to list it.

probably from the stolen goods from the one factory in Asia that were made by
employees without permission and then sold like crazy a short while back same
place as all the transparent figures that have been on the market for a while
now

I think it was initially a bit from China, and then a LOT from Mexico.

I thought the Asian one is where most of the transparent figures and parts were
from meanwhile the overstock (yes said sarcastically) were from Mexico

I thought the Asian one was where the Deadpool minifigs and the like came from.
Transparent parts were linked to Mexico (in my mind).

What it prooves is that:
— rumours are variable
— and/or we have filters (we only get some versions)
— and/or we have prejudices (we only remember what goes with what we already
think)

I thought Asian one that wasn’t china is where the transparent figures are from
China in the past is where lower quality official lego parts were made
Mexico is nightshift parts where employees make extra “real” parts that they
then sell
