| Hello Everybody,
I just got a NSS alert for a order, which I shipped July 20th, without Track
and trace, within the Netherlands. This order got probably lost in the mail.
What can I do about it? accept the NSS, and hope that I want get 2 more? or sent
the money back, so no money and no lego, and the costs for shipping paid by me
(so complete loss for me as a seller), or is there anything else I can do as
a seller in this case?
first time this happened to me in nearly 20 years of selling on bricklink. Bit
lost, and dissapointed here.

Niles,
You are going to hate me. But you need to refund and take the loss.
Accepting money for goods is a contract that is not fulfilled until they are
delivered.
Tracking and insurance is not for the buyer it is for the seller.
Your shipper failed you by losing the package.
You failed your customer because of the shipper.
When you buy something do you expect to receive the goods? So does your buyer.
You did nothing wrong, but your buyer did nothing wrong.

Sorry, but you should definitely refund if you feel the time for likely delivery
is passed. Insurance and tracking are really your responsibility and not the
buyers. We all have to decide where the line is for risk when it comes to shipping
without insurance.
