Hello,

My first post (so be nice)

I recently acquired some vintage lego. 10 sets in total. All open, complete and
for the most part good condition.

Sets
936, 655, 652, 642, 692, 609, 693, 644, 659, 653

Im wondering about selling these on and was finding it hard to pricer them.

Would they be better sold off individually or as a collection, and if so how
much?

Im just looking for ball park figures really and/or some advice.

I have uploaded a picture of the full collection, but can post individual sets
if required.

Thanks
Mark

I am no expert, but since they are all used/open, the prices will probably not
be that high. Personally I would try to sell them as a lot.

The parts are generally very easy to come by. Occasionally there are a few harder
to find parts but not that often. The boxes and instructions are harder, but
still not that hard. I regularly see a dealer at a local boot sale that does
empty 70s boxes in similar condition for £5-10. The problem is finding a collector
that doesn't already have a box and wants one. I'd bundle them and ebay
auction them, let the market decide the price rather than trying to pluck a number
out of the air.

I’ve tried to look up similar sets presently for sale here and have come to the
approximate sum of £170.

However this is what they are asking and isn’t necessarily what they will sell
for.

The number of sets sold for those you’ve listed are between 2 & 6 for each over
the last 6 months, however most sold for a lot less, they may not have had either
instructions or box.

They don’t appear to be popular.

Hope that gives you something to base your price on.

If you want to sell here you’ll need to first buy from someone, receive positive
feedback and open a store.
