Hi everyone,

I'm a fairly new shop and I have just received my first complaint ( the complaint
was about postage ) This particular person was over charged £1 for postage, when
I realsied I sent 3 separate emails asking for a PayPal address to refund them
the money and rather than reply to my emails they just filed an NSS. I think
that's wrong anyway as I posted it, no? anyway they have left snotty feedback
is there anyway I can respond to the feedback? Id like to try and defend myself
as I feel I tried to cover every part and they were just so rude.

Any help would be much appreciated.

James

You can reply to the feedback, yes.

For refund you should be able to refund through BrickLink itself.

Assuming the package has been received (seems obvious from the feedback) for
the buyer to start an NSS is really abusing the system.

And anyone who looks at your feedback would look at the rest that person left
and realize he throws a tantrum when he doesn't like things. Postage quoted
when checking out is the postage agreed upon. Unless there is a TOS stating
it must be refunded then it is what it is.

You could contact the buyer and find a solution for both negative feedbacks.

If you scroll to the bottom of the feedback page you linked to, there is a link
to respond to the feedback.

If you use instant checkout, you can partially refund through bricklink. If you
use manual paypal payments, you can partially refund through paypal. You don't
need to send a separate payment, as the buyer gets charged fees for this (unless
you mark as family and friends, which is wrong).

As to the comment, BL are unlikely to remove the feedback although they will
remove an NSS if you show proof of postage. At least they admit to receiving
it in the comment. If parts were loose in a bubblemail envelope, it is a good
idea to put them into a bag / bags so that they do not get lost if the envelope
is ripped.
