Howdy, first time poster, short time reader.

I am looking for assistance in identifying appropriate colours for a mosaic I
have made. It's come from a cross stitch pattern I originally created for
my Nanna but she passed today, so wish to replicate it in Lego bricks to give
to one of the grand daughters to make with me. I have managed to narrow it down
to 16 colours (originally it was 71) with the quantity required for each. The
pattern is 80 x 80 (5 x 5 Lego Art Mosaic tiles).

The ones I am struggling with are in the following quantities:
39
1115
627
94

For the others I have:
121 - White
795 - Bright Reddish Violet
230 - Light Purple
94 - White Glitter
913 - Nougat
223 - Dark Orange
623 - Light Nougat
774 - Reddish Brown
367 - Cool Yellow
276 - Dark Brown
68 - Earth Green
41 - Light Blue

These are subjective; if you know of a colour that fits better I am open to it.
Any assistance is welcomed as I am somewhat out of my depth.

Welcome! I am sorry for your loss.

This depends on the parts you’d like to use and your budget. These look like
official LEGO color names, so I’d advise against using something like Light Blue,
as it was not available in a wide range of parts. That being said, here’s what
I think might match best:

121 - White
795 - Bright Reddish Violet (Magenta)
230 - Bright Purple (Dark Pink)
*94 - Could you clarify what you mean by “White Glitter”?
913 - Medium Nougat
223 - Dark Orange
623 - Light Nougat
*39 - Nougat (I can’t really tell the difference between this and 913)
*1115 - Sand Red (LEGO doesn’t have a good match for this color, and this particular
color is no longer produced)
774 - Reddish Brown
367 - Cool Yellow (Bright Light Yellow)
276 - Dark Brown
627 - Light Purple (Bright Pink)
*94 - This and 230 are fairly close. LEGO does not have a very decent match for
this shade.
68 - Earth Green (Dark Green)
41 - Sand Green

Most of these recommendations can be found in 1x1 plate (3024) form. You may
run into trouble attempting to find a decent match for 1115, but standard Red
is the closest thing I can think of. LEGO doesn’t have a Primrose color.

Parts were either 1 x 1 tiles, 1 x 1 plates or 1 x 1 plate rounds, whatever was
easier to source honestly.

Easy, thank you.

As for the White Glitter I think Light Aqua is a better colour match. It's
just a shade colour for the white and wanted something to differentiate the two
colours without going to a hard grey.

Light Aqua is a good match for that one. You could also turn to Very Light Gray,
as it isn’t too difficult to find or very far off from White. It can also be
found in bulk quantities if Light Aqua turns out to be too blue/green. Best of
luck!

You may also consider “special” colours, like Pearl (Pearl Gold, Pearl Dark Gray,
Flat Silver), Metallic (Metallic Gold, Metallic Silver), Satin colours (Satin
Trans-Clear looks like mother-of-pearl), or Transparent colours.

They are often left aside (impossible to use in simple image processing) but
can add more realism.

Use the Colour guide: https://www.bricklink.com/catalogColors.asp , and look
for colours that were still produced in 2022/2023, they should be easy to find…
though not always all for the same parts.
