I have just received an order from one of the store in New Zealand.

This guy is shipping chineese knock off parts, not original lego.

How am I 100% sure?
Simple: I bought myself these chineese knock off, and was not happy with the
quality.
This is why i am now buying exclusively original parts.
I keep these chineese knock off in a box as to not mix them with original Lego
parts.

These chineese parts have a slightly different mechanical design and it is easy
to spot a knock off from an original.

I am highly disapointed, and i'm seriously considering reporting the seller
to BrickLink. This is clearly a scam.

I won't report publicly the name of the store.

Has anyone had similar problems?

please post photos.
Not all lego parts have the logo on them and depending on where the part was
made they may have differnt colours. older parts sometimes have differnt molds
then new ones. photos would help lots

I was aware of a seller in China doing so, but he listed them as knock offs.
Not allowed, but in his case he was not a scammer as he was up front about it.

Yes, typically the studs won't have the Lego logo on them - is that the case?

Well if it's chineese then it's clearly fake.

Personally, I only buy genuine Chinese knock-offs.

China does have a Lego factory (or more) and when it first opened, there were
issues with quality control. I believe that the quality concerns were fixed.

Attach photos of the parts.

PS, the word is Chinese, with a Capital C and no double e.

I think the number of bricklink sellers who would knowingly sell a non-lego minifig
is very small.

If you think the seller has sent you a knock-off, you could contact the seller
and ask for a refund. An seller who has sold a knock off by mistake would welcome
the information and work to make it right.

If you think the seller sold a knock off on purpose, then you should report the
seller to Bricklink. Unless people report problems, Bricklink can't do much
about them.
