| Hello, can anyone tell me how to find stores that don't just accept paypal?
that take other methods of payment?
I do not have or want a paypal account.

stripe is the only alternative if you live in a state with sales tax

The only way to know what payments a store accepts is by reading the terms and
conditions.

I thought you could still guest checkout without a PayPal account, maybe that
is gone?
There is no list unfortunately or way to search. If you are buying by wanted
list you would still have to check every store first but it is quick to see at
the bottom of the terms page.
Feel free to shop in my NH store that accepts stripe. Even have some people
pick their orders up to save on shipping if you live near the Bedford area.

If the seller has guest checkout enabled within their own merchant setting, then
you should see a similar screen at checkout. It does have some restrictions
and may require clearing browser setting or cache.
