I’ve been trying to ID these for two hours. I assumed they were wheels but they
must be modified and I can’t figure out the keyword.

CLEATS! That’s it!

Surprised I didn’t see this in regular “wheel” search.

You know, the mold number is fairly easy to read on this part. Why don't
you get yourself a bright light and a decent magnifying glass and save the 2
hours?

Bingo! Pretty much every part has a mold number on it to help I’d what it is.
Worth the magnifying glass and led lamp x 1,000,000.

Well if I knew what part it was, I would have known it was one of the ones that
had the mold printed on it. All the other wheels I went through today didn't
have one and I thought this was the Catalog Identification forum. Got my answer
faster than upgrading the lighting and buying a magnifying glass so I guess the
forum worked?

The point is that you should be able to quickly see the mold number and look
up the parts you don’t know. It takes 30 secs to check the number and type it
in here with an asterisk. No guessing, no scrolling through categories, no taking
images and posting them in the Forum. It’s the first step. For looking up. Parts.

Your post says you spent 2 hours looking! 2 hours is worth getting the tools
any Lego shop owner should have anyway,
