| hello,
I now have my BrickLink store for 2 weeks, and stil haven't yet got my first
salel. I don't understand why. Could it be that I have done something wrong
with the shipping or so?
If you know what I am doing wrong please contact me.

You are not doing anything wrong, perse.
But you just don't have that much inventory, to get consistent orders you
need to get a lot bigger. You also don't have Store Terms and Conditions
or a Shipping Policy, you really need those.
Keep adding!

| Hi,
I tried until the payment process and I can assure you that everything works
well.
You don't have a big inventory, maybe the reason why you don't have any
sale yet but it won't be long, be patient

To be fair, the people who created flags weren’t very creative: they all used
the same formats (3 bands, a cross…) and the same 6 or 7 basic colours¹.
————
¹ Well, there’s small colour differences (blue & red are lighter for Luxembourg
than for Nederlands; France’s blue is darker than Dark Blue…) but nobody cares.

You'll need 500-1000 lots to start having real sales, right now you're
in the smallest 1% of 15000 stores, don't give up and keep adding parts.
Sales will follow, be patient.

Be patient and add more inventory. Took me 6 weeks to get my first sale.

As others have noted, you don't have much stock. But also what you do have
is mainly used but very modern. This will have to compete with recent new stock
in other stores. For every used minifigure I clicked on in your store, there
was a cheaper European seller that had the same figure in new condition. And
that is when you have a 10% sale on. You are unlikely to get sales under those
conditions. You are far from being the cheapest, and you are unlikely to have
the right combination of figures for someone to place an order at higher than
cheapest prices since most of it is very recent and the market is flooded with
recent items.
If you want sales now you will either need to reduce (quite significantly) prices
to compete with the cheaper new items or you will need to start adding a wider
variation of stock that others do not have. Continuing to add recent and current
parts (as in from the last 3-4 years and newer) at average prices won't really
help you much, as there are many other sellers that already have such stock at
cheaper than average prices. It is easy to buy current sets and expect a good
return at average prices, but that won't happen. You'll need to sit on
it for years or drop prices to the point where you will make a loss if you bought
at RRP.
Look for older sets or minifigures: vintage is good but even 5+ years old will
at least give you some stock of parts and minifigures that other stores don't
already have 100s of, in new condition.

Here is some honest feedback:
You could have the best deals possible and I would pause before ordering for
the following reasons:
1. Your 2nd paragraph in your terms says "We try our best to keep our inventory
up to date. " which tells me that an error in what is ordered vs what is
available will most likely occur.
2. The correction for #1 is "it might" lead to a refund. Might? You
mean it will definitely be refunded.
3. I'm not up-to-date on charging an extra 5% for orders under your Payment
Fee. That section confuses me, is this an additional charge, is this the shipping
cost? What are your shipping costs? Will you invoice me actual or actual + something?
4. Under shipping, you say you will use envelopes. Lego does not transport
well in envelopes if your type of envelope is the same as an envelope that we
have in the USA. All Lego should be sent in bubble mailers or boxes. Please
note though that I am not familiar with what Bpost Envelope (2023) is.
5. Again, I don't know how other countries work with shipping, but tracking
should always be provided and no one should have to pay extra for it or feel
like they are.
6. You are responsible for loss or damaged shipments just like how every retailer
is responsible for getting their orders to their customers. I see this often
on this website where suddenly sellers think it is "ok" that buyers assume
that risk or ordering something, paying for it, but never getting it. Where
is the audit check that a package was even sent in the mail to begin with this
way? Maybe this is more of an international issue that I am not as familiar
with and it isn't possible? Thank goodness for UPS and USPS here in the
states where nearly everything is tracked
7. I'm assuming English is not your native language as I think, but could
be wrong, but in Belgium a variety of languages are used and trust me, I wish
I knew other languages better myself, but if the terms are going to be in English,
please do a spell check. It is very sloppy and I'm sure an online translator
doesn't spell works incorrectly that often so if needed, please use one.
Hope this helps. Best of luck on your Lego adventure and don't get frustrated,
we all started somewhere and had to learn how to best operate our shops with
how we each individually like to operate them.

For my store,
Tracking is optional because international shipping doesn't have it by default
(PostNL) and yes, you have to pay extra for it, and is only recently available
for some shipping types.
Most of my international buyers choose to ship without tracking.

| A few notes. You have these lines in your terms:
We will not be responsible for uninsured parcels or parcels without track
and trace number if lost in transit or get dammaged! If you are not willing to
protect your investment by paying for track and trace, the risk is yours.
Once your order has left our shop, we are not responsible for any loss or damage.
I'm not sure why so many sellers try to put stuff like this in terms. At
least in the United States, this is totally unenforceable. Paypal will side
with the buyer 99% of the time if there is no tracking or if something arrives
damaged.
Insurance is there to protect the seller, not the buyer. If you want the protection,
you should build it into your prices.
Second note is that you're inventory is very small and your lot count is
very, very small. I think most people buy from a wanted list and it would be
pretty unlikely that your store would have exactly the pieces anyone needs in
exactly the quantities you have.
Third note is that for a store your size, you should either be the absolute cheapest
available in your country or expect no sales until your inventory is larger.
I noticed that several of your used minifigs are more expensive than the average
price for the same fig in new condition. Why would someone buy a used one when
they can get a new one cheaper from an established store?
