| I recently started my store and I sold two sets to a guy named Tim. He says when
he received the order all the minifigs have cracks but I checked before I posted
and they did not. He is now blackmailing me telling me he will give me bad feedback
and report me if I don’t give him at least half or all of his money back. He
is using the ability to report and give feedback to get stuff from me for free
he is a horrible buyer and very annoying now his username is b4tm4nz I would
not recommend selling to him, how do I handle this?

I'm sorry you're in this situation. Has the buyer submitted any evidence
that the figures are indeed cracked?
I fortunately have not had to deal with something like this and maybe someone
who has can say this is a terrible idea, but I would ask the buyer to send the
items back if he is that dissatisfied.
If he paid through PayPal, he can most likely file a charge back if he's
being serious. I'm not sure if PayPal will actually look for evidence of
damaged goods and ask for photographic evidence. Then you'll be out all
your money and no product.
If this is the best route to take, do not make him pay for return shipping, create
a label and send it to him. Document yourself opening the package.
Although it can sometime be excessive, document your order and condition of order
especially with high value items using pictures.

Out of curiosity, what were the figures in question? Obviously there are sets
where the figures are the highest value part of the set, but asking for a full
refund for everything and not just the "damaged" parts seems unreasonable.

I believe your best course of action would be to do what others have already
said. Give him several options to get around his blackmail. Ship it back at your
cost, refund him half like he wants, or simply send pictures. The worst that
can happen is he ignores you and uses paypal. We will see what happens. Good
luck, and keep us updated.
After this is all said and done, stop list him. And get others to do the same.
Post his username here and the BL Facebook if you’re in it. We cannot let this
type of person pollute our site.
Of course, then again, the minifigures could’ve been damaged in shipping…

Or cracks can be really difficult to see without high quality lighting. Nothing
worse than pulling a figure out of storage and realizing the torso is starting
to go...

+1 lately I've been having to either put legs sideways into the torsos or
another torsos neck into a torso to see if it has a crack

Excuse me, but are you a female and the buyer a guy?
It could be typical of this kind of harassment...
You're quite sure about what you shipped?
Then what - blackmailing - let him give you any feedback.
BTW if it was less than 30 days ago, you can remove the feeback you gave him,
in case of
Report you? Fine - just let him do and defend yourself.
BUT if you've a sincere doubt about what you shipped (it's possible!)
then why not search a solution where both will be happy. But NOT under the pressure
of blackmailing.

Sorry to hear that. I would attempt to work things out with the buyer first.
Failing that, you could either give them what they want, or refuse and open yourself
to potential retaliation (negative feedback on BrickLink, PayPal dispute, etc).
Buyers are well within their right to leave any feedback for any reason. In either
case, you may stoplist the buyer to prevent them from ordering from you in the
future: https://www.bricklink.com/pref_stop.asp
Hope that helps.

First thing you do is ask him for photos of the damage. If he refuses he probably
has no case. Document all your communication with him in case you need to appeal
with PayPal.
But get proof first.
If it is indeed cracked then you are required to resolve it and at your expense
I am afraid.
