I have never posted on here so I am not exactly sure what I am doing, but My
mom and I like to build lego together and we found bricklink and are giving it
a try to sell our sets we put together and use that to buy more. I bought a few
sets as well to part out, I guess I am really curious as to how you guys experienced
sellers at the beginning, we only have about 11,000 parts in our store and I
am wondering if that is just simply not enough to attract people. I know this
isn't something that will ever replace jobs, but I have a vision for it to
make enough for my mom to retire and she can enjoy her hobby.

Welcome! You're off to a great start!

I am fairly new as well and have found that adding more lots is better than adding
more parts (but that is important too). Keep adding new things everyday and expand
your variety.

Posting in the Sales thread with a decent % discount can get your name out there
quicker. But limit the amount of lots that can be purchased otherwise you'll
get overloaded. That was something I learned right away.

Good luck!
