| Hi guys,
I don't normally post on forms, this is in fact my first time. However, a
just received an order and all of my stuff was there, but there is a ludicrous
amount of extra parts. Not duplicate parts of what I ordered, but completely
different parts. It looks to me that there is about $10-15 worth.
What do I do? Do I contact the seller and figure out how to send them back? Not
that I need the parts necessarily, but am I entitled to them because it was the
seller's mistake? If I have to send them back, then do I have to pay for
shipping?
Please help and sorry if I am not doing this right.

It's possible that part of someone else's order got packed into yours
by mistake. I would contact the seller and see if that might be the case.

It would be best to contact the seller and see if you can sort it out with them
|

It is very possible that the seller accidentally packed parts from another order
with yours. Any seller would be very grateful and appreciative if you contacted
them to notify them about such an apparent error. That is the right thing to
do. (of course you are not entitled to them if someone else paid for them)
I will admit that I've accidentally packed parts in the wrong order. The
buyer contacted me, and together we came up with a solution, and were able to
get the parts to the correct recipient, making all three of us happy. Of course
you would not be on the hook for any costs associated with the sellers error.

You seem really conflicted about this. If you found some lost money or personal
items somewhere, wouldn't you try your best to get them back to their owner?
Contact the seller and offer to help.
