Hello!

I am a new US seller around here, I received an order from France and I'm
trying to purchase a shipping label from the USPS website. I'm using the
9503.00.2900 HS Tariff Number but it gives me a pop-up saying it's restricted
item and then it estimates like $1,000 in taxes?? What am I doing wrong?

Detailed message from the website :
PCA - Consumer protection. Import control 1 (various regulations) ; R134: Products
designed to be used, whether or not exclusively, for play purposes by children
under the age of fourteen or intended for this purpose and subject to the provisions
of Decree n°2010-166 of February 22, 2010 ; 23306: Consumer protection - Safety
of Toys This product is likely to enter the scope of Decree n° 2010-166 of February
22, 2010 on the safety of toys. Toys mean products that are designed to be used
solely or partly for purposes of play by children under fourteen years or for
this purpose. The field of exclusions is included in Article 2 of Decree 2010-166
and in the Order of February 24, 2010 laying down the procedures for the implementation
of Decree n° 2010-166. During import control operations, toys must: 1° Be sealed
with the "CE" marking (2805) 2° Indicate the following data related to
manufacturers and importers: name, business name or registered trademark and
address where they can be contacted. If it is not possible to put this information
on the toy, they appear on the packaging of the toy or in a document accompanying
the toy (2806). 3. Be accompanied by the following documents (presented on request
of the service): -technical documentation (2050), as presented in Appendix III.
-EC declaration of conformity (2035) as presented in Annex II. ; 2035: EC declaration
of conformity ; 2050: technical documentation provided in Annex III of Decree
n°2010-166 ; 2805: "CE" marking ; 2806: Information relating to manufacturers
and importers (e.g name, trade name or trademark of the manufacturer and/or importer).

Why are you using that number instead of 9503.00.0000 ?

.2900 could be a originating country code that is subject to high tariffs

I guess I have been lazy and have been using only 950300 for as long as I can
remember.

That's a generic 'Construction toys' I believe? Shrug.
