I started this poem cliche,

I’ll be here for you, I’m your boy!
You are my sunrise, my very own dawn,
You smell so good, like a freshly mowed lawn.

Because of you, my sadness is gone!
I was just sitting there drinking my sweet tea,
And then the Lord gave you to me,
I couldn’t believe for a second this was free!
When I saw your beauty, my jaw fell to my knee!
My eyes were bugging out of my head,
Like a cartoon, my face turned bright red!
I said “hi” and you said “hey!”
Right then I thought “my forever starts today!”
When I first saw you, so beautious and meek,
I stood there staring, probably looked like a freak!
In my mind you were stuck, my heart sprung a leak,
I was only thinking about you week after week!
This poem needs work, (but I do too,)
So to you, my Love, I’ll always be true.
So before you cry with joy (boo hoo,)
Just know that loving you is all I can do!
