| Look at sides of legs. If the have a seam on side of the legs they are 1980 or
newer.
No seam: 1978-1980.
There are no sharp date as Lego use up what they have. This also applies to hands
and prongs in torso. So in 1980 figs might have seam/no seam on legs; might have
milky yellow hands/yellow hands; might have small prongs in torso/no prongs.
Truly vintage for a collector is: No seam on side of legs, no prongs in torso,
milky yellow hands.
Also 1979 there was hands that were more like orange-yellow (darker) for some
figs.

Older legs have a horizontal LEGO logo between the two studs (piers? towers?)
on the top of the leg; newer ones have a vertical logo. Not sure when this switch
happened. Some older legs have L and R characters inside the legs as well.
