Yeah I agree. It is very time consuming for the seller. Then we would have no
buyers with the 5 to 10 for each order.

You can charge whatever handling fees you want, just make sure to put it in your
store's terms.

Charge what you like if you feel you will still get orders.

If it is your job and only source of income, I can understand.
But for most of us it is a hobby.

If you start counting time, one part will cost a lot.
First there is the time needed to source said part(s).
(luckily I have nothing better to do on my free weekends, why bother cleaning
the house, I am never there)
Then you need to check if the parts are up to scratch (or rather not scratched).
Uploading the part, if only one part, high cost, if multiple parts, the cost
lowers.
Storing the part (do not forget the storage we bought to store the parts, this
storage keeps growing and growing, some of us even moved to a different house
because of said storage).
Getting the order, going through it and now find the part again.
I have 3 places in my house for parts storage, takes me minutes to find some
parts.
(some parts took me days and a few are still missing)
Now the part is in my hands, I check it again, did I correctly describe it?
Part goes in a sorting tray I bought for just this job, I have several, one for
each order or part of an order.
Part goes into a baggie (bought….you get the gist), into the total order, gets
packed up in packing I bought specifically for this job.
Now the label needs to be made and printed on the printer I bought specially
for this and finally I can be on my way to the po……

Damn I need a break, why did I start this stupid hobby
Did I mention sorting parts….

We do charge for it! Some charge handling fees, others simply raise their prices.
But when you buy parts on BrickLink, you are paying not only for the parts themselves,
but the labor used to part out sets, organize and store the parts, and pack and
ship the order.
